Encountering the Potala Palace at Sanxingdui

After visiting Exhibition Hall 1 and Hall 2 at Sanxingdui, it was already 6:00 PM, so I decided to leave. On my way past Hall 4, I noticed a special exhibition featuring artifacts from the Potala Palace, so I went in. This time, the world cultural heritage from the highlands—the Potala Palace collection—was on display, including Buddha statues, thangkas, scriptures, ritual instruments, daily utensils, and clothing. Among them, one-third of the exhibits were being shown to the public for the first time. The special exhibition was divided into three main themes: architecture, treasures, and preservation and utilization. Digital light and shadow technology vividly showcased the wisdom and grandeur of the Potala Palace, which was built along the mountain.
