Fuzhou | The Perfect Match for a Rainy Day: Sanbao Bindi and the Lacquer Three-Pronged Hairpin!

| A rainy day pairs perfectly with Sanbao Bindi and the lacquer three-pronged hairpin! We took our kids to check out the same Fuzhou intangible cultural heritage featured in Zhao Liying's "Shang Cheng Shi" – the lacquer three-pronged hairpin. Just as the makeup and styling were done, a sudden downpour ⛈️ hit. We thought our outing plans were ruined, but to our surprise, the hotel we were staying at turned out to be the perfect shooting location! This elegant Min-style courtyard hotel was full of delightful surprises! Every corner was picturesque, and every step evoked admiration. The pavilions, saddle-shaped walls, quiet alleys, and white marble corridors—each detail made us feel like we’d stumbled into a breathtaking display of Chinese aesthetics. Rainlight filtered through the lattice windows as our child, dressed in a new Chinese-style ramie outfit, strolled around, evoking the ambiance of an old Fuzhou mansion! We stayed in a courtyard king room, which was spacious and led directly to a small garden. Drawing the curtains revealed stunning views! The room was filled with thoughtful details, including children's toiletries, a personalized surname origin card matching our registration, and complimentary tea and beverages—making us feel right at home! The hotel also offered lacquer fan and bead-stringing workshops, a self-service minibar, and plenty of activities to keep us entertained indoors. The lavish afternoon tea and breakfast could even be delivered to the room—so convenient! Every staff member was incredibly kind, making our stay truly wonderful. As a parting gift, we received a jasmine-scented aromatherapy set, which I absolutely loved! Whether under heavy rain or clearing skies, this boutique hotel exuded charm and beauty. It’s a place where kids can immerse themselves in cultural richness—and one we’d gladly revisit! 📍Sanbao Bindi, Fuzhou
