This hotel perfectly showcases Fuzhou's cultural heritage!

Having worked in the homestay industry for many years, and having stayed in many boutique and unique hotels & homestays, I would prefer to call this hotel a "boutique homestay" because the humanistic care and local culture it displays far exceeded my expectations. [Location] Sanbao Guest House is located in the Sanfang Qixiang block, the historical and cultural center of Fuzhou. It is located on Tonghu Road, on the other side of Nanhou Street, where there are few tourists. Entering through the [Wangyuan] arch, you can see the ancient building gate with gray plastic stone carvings, which is very magnificent. [Design] The Guest House has a total of 54 rooms and 6 courtyards. The lobby space and interior space are constructed with wooden tenon and mortise joints. It is said to be made of Myanmar teak. When you enter the lobby, you can smell a faint woody fragrance, which makes you feel calm. The six courtyards have different scenery. They all have different "pavilions" that are exquisite and ingenious. Ancient building enthusiasts will definitely stop and admire them for a long time. Carefully study the couplets on the pavilions. They are almost all written by literati from Sanfang Qixiang. They cleverly integrate the culture of the century-old neighborhood into this place. Pavilions, carved beams and painted screens, octagonal caissons, Huian stone carvings, saddle walls, intangible cultural heritage lacquer paintings, rubbings of literati calligraphy and paintings, gray sculptures... It is simply an "ancient building museum" that integrates Fuzhou's ancient buildings & neighborhood culture perfectly. [Room] This time, I stayed in a courtyard queen room. The room has its own small courtyard. The entire floor-to-ceiling window frames the beautiful garden scenery. What surprised me was the "Origin of Family Names" that was equipped. The sense of ritual and culture is full. The amenities are also quite rich and in place. Tea, welcome fruit, drinks, snacks, coffee.... You can also stay in the courtyard without leaving the house. A quiet place in the bustling city where you can relax! [Check-in experience] Before checking in, the butler will contact you in advance to confirm your arrival time and provide free parking spaces. It is really heartwarming. I also took part in a guided tour of the garden culture. I made lacquer fans and bracelets, which were very memorable~ This is a homestay that I would visit again when traveling to Fuzhou!
