Fukuoka Hakata Tokyu Stay Hotel Review!

Before heading to Fukuoka, I read tons of reviews about the Fukuoka Hakata Tokyu Stay Hotel. Initially, I was worried it might be far from Hakata Station, but after checking in, I realized my concerns were unnecessary! From the Chikushi Exit of Hakata Station, you pass by a 7-Eleven, then walk through stores like Matsumoto Kiyoshi and Yodobashi Camera. It’s about a 7-minute walk to the hotel, and there are plenty of eateries along the way. Inside Hakata Station, you’ll also find shopping malls like AMU, Hankyu, and KITTY, making shopping super convenient. This time, I stayed in both the Moderate Double Room and the Comfort Double Room. Although the rooms are near the railway tracks, once you close the windows and wear earplugs, even light sleepers can rest peacefully. The rooms are well-equipped with a microwave, washing machine, humidifier, and iron. On the first floor, you can grab free essentials like tea bags, toothbrushes, coffee, and even ice cubes. The space is sufficient to fully open two 24-inch suitcases. If you need to switch rooms, the hotel staff can help transfer your luggage, which is incredibly thoughtful! Overall, this hotel is perfect for "special ops" travelers planning day trips around Fukuoka. However, if your main purpose in Fukuoka is shopping, staying in Tenjin might be more convenient. Choose your accommodation based on your itinerary!
