Enshi Grand Canyon: A Masterpiece of Nature, a Visual Feast

Overview Location: Located in Tunbao Township and Banqiao Town, Enshi City, Hubei Province, at the junction of Hunan, Chongqing, and Hubei provinces. It is a section of the Qingjiang Grand Canyon, 49 km from Enshi city center. Scale: 108 km long and covers an area of over 300 square kilometers. It is a National Geopark and a National AAAAA Tourist Attraction. Geological Features: The world's only compound karst landform with coexisting "ground fissures, sinkholes, and rock pillar groups." It boasts five geological wonders: Qingjiang River white clouds, cliff peak clusters, natural bridge cave groups, underground river waterfalls, and sinkholes. Main Attractions Yunlong Ground Fissure Scenic Area: Located west of the visitor center, covering an area of approximately 11.3 square kilometers, with an altitude between 600-800 meters. Main attractions include Yunlong Ground Fissure, Yunlong Wind-Rain Bridge, Stone Curtain, Rainbow Waterfall, Five-Color Yellow Dragon Waterfall, Bihe Bridge, Yunlong Waterfall, and Ice Waterfall. Seven Star Village Scenic Area: Features geological landscapes such as peak clusters, cliffs, waterfalls, and zoomorphic stones. Attractions include Daloumen Peak Cluster, One Incense Stick, and Cliff Corridor. Visitor Information Opening Hours: Peak season 08:00-16:00 (Mar 1 to Dec 30), off-season 08:30-15:00 (Jan 1 to Feb 28). Tickets: Purchase online through Trip.com and other online travel platforms, the official website, or on-site at the ticket office. Concessions: Free or half-price admission for children aged 6 and under or under 1.2m tall, seniors aged 70 and above, active military personnel, etc., with valid ID. Transportation By Air: Fly to Enshi Xujiaping Airport, then transfer to a bus to the scenic area. By Train: Take the train to Enshi Station or Lichuan Station. From Enshi Station, take the tourist bus directly from the station square. From Lichuan Station, take a bus to Enshi Grand Canyon from Lichuan East Gate Station. By Car: From Enshi city center, go via Tunbao Township to reach the scenic area. From Lichuan city center, go via Tuanbao Town and Mufushan Ancient Town.
