You may think just visiting old town Edinburgh is sufficient, I disagree. Dean Village is also a must visit when you are here as this place recently had a make over to ensure the buildings that were built in the 1880s still stand strong. These houses were once built for local workers and somehow, there are many picture perfect spot to take a photo. Dean Village itself isn't very big and can take you less than 30-45mins to complete, but if you do want to know more about the Village history, I recommend to visit the national gallery located here in Dean Village
