Itinerary: Edinburgh weekend jolly/city break.
Day1: Dinner at Fava, Greek in Haymarket, Pre drink at Deacon Brodieโs on the Royal Mile before a Concert in the Castle: @LudovicoEinaudi

Day2: Walked to Dean village along the river to Stockbridge dotting in and out cute shops and bars along the way. Walk along Circus Lane, St Vincent Bar, Pizza at Civerinos after sitting outside the Stockbridge Tap in the sunshine talking to the friendly locals. Victoria street shops. Gin cocktail at the Jolly Botanist, Malones near our hotel then off for a dance and live music at Stramash (Old church live music venue, Absolutely brilliant! Open till 3am).
Day3: A big Scottish Breakfast a the long journey home.
๐ Tips Getting There - Airlink bus from the airport ยฃ5.50/ยฃ8 rtn takes 30 mins into town (multiple stops) buy your ticket at the stop or onboard. Also bus 100 or trams and Ubers in town but the city is very walkable.
Attractions - Edinburgh Castle, Village of Dean, Stockbridge, Water of Leith, Victoria Street, Circus Lane.
Hotels - Point A Hotel Edinburgh. Great location (walking distance to grassmarket/castle/bars and restaurants) basic but clean, friendly and has everything you need for a city break.
Bars- St Vincent for quirky near circus lane, Stockbridge Tap for sunshine and people watching, Nightcap, The Last word, Bramble, Lucky Liqour, Smith & Gertrude, Le Di-Vin.
Nightlife- Stramash, Whistle Binkies, Captains Bar, Jazz Bar.
