March, with the quiet arrival of spring, I, as a travel enthusiast, couldn't resist the urge to explore! This time, my destination was Songshan Lake in Dongguan, a place favored by spring. I was full of anticipation before departure, but it turned out to be even more stunning than I had imagined~ 🚗Transportation I chose to take the subway and transfer to a bus, which was very convenient! If you're driving, there are plenty of parking lots around the park, and the parking fees are reasonable, so those who prefer to drive can rest assured🚗 🌳Misty Songshan Lake Upon entering Songshan Lake, the first stop was Misty Songshan Lake. This place is truly breathtaking! The lake water is crystal clear and sparkling, like a giant blue silk satin. Weeping willows line the lakeshore, their slender branches swaying in the wind, as if whispering secrets to the water. Strolling along the lake, a gentle breeze caressed my face, carrying the faint fragrance of flowers and the earthy scent of soil, completely healing my soul. Occasionally, small boats could be seen gliding across the lake, filled with laughter and joy, as people reveled in the beauty of spring🎈 🌷Taoyuan Park A short walk from Misty Songshan Lake brought me to Taoyuan Park, a veritable ocean of flowers! Peach blossoms bloomed in abundance across the hillsides, their delicate pink hues resembling clouds on the horizon. Stepping into the peach forest felt like entering a dreamy fairy tale world, where each blossom seemed like a meticulously crafted work of art. I couldn't stop taking photos from every angle📷. Besides peach blossoms, the park also boasted a variety of unnamed wildflowers, scattered like colorful stars among the grass, adding a touch of playful charm to the park. 🚲Cycling Path The cycling path at Songshan Lake is a must-try! Rent a bicycle and follow the picturesque path that stretches for dozens of kilometers. With the beautiful lake view on one side and lush trees on the other, the scenery along the way is simply stunning. When tired of cycling, find a roadside pavilion to rest, enjoy the breeze, and admire the surrounding beauty. It's incredibly relaxing. Along the way, I encountered many fellow cycling enthusiasts, exchanging greetings and sharing the joy of the journey🚲 🍜Food After a day of fun, it's time for some delicious food! There are numerous dining options near Songshan Lake. I dined at a local tea restaurant, trying their signature pineapple bun. The crust was crispy, and the butter inside was cool and refreshing. The combination of hot and cold in one bite was amazing! The steamed chicken feet in black bean sauce were also tender and flavorful, falling off the bone with a gentle tug. I could easily devour two servings on my own. Their boat congee was also delicious, a bowl brimming with ingredients🥢 🎠Entertainment Facilities The park also offers various entertainment facilities, such as a Ferris wheel and a carousel.
