Lo Tsuen Peninsula

Luoquan Peninsula is located on the east coast of Erhai Lake in Dali. The peninsula is surrounded by water on three sides and has beautiful scenery. It faces the ancient city of Dali across the sea. It is an excellent geographical location for viewing the beautiful scenery of Cangshan Mountain and Erhai Lake. Luoquan Peninsula has left behind many cultural relics since the Han and Tang Dynasties. During the Tianbao War of the Tang Dynasty, Nanzhao defeated the Tang army twice, and Master Luo Quan made an indispensable contribution. King Ge Luofeng of the Zhao Dynasty granted the land of Dongya to Master Luo Quan. Since then, the temples and pagodas on the peninsula and the island have been named after Luo Quan, and the name has been used for a thousand years without change, which shows how profound its heritage is. The Luoquan Peninsula tourist area has the first water slide entertainment facility in western Yunnan, the alpine rafting; there is the Luoquan Tower where you can take the elevator to the top to enjoy the panoramic view of Cang'an and Erhai Lake; there is the Yu'an Grand View Garden with a sea view square; there is the Tianjing Pavilion, the first of the four famous pavilions in Erhai Lake; in addition, there are many other attractions such as the Luoquan Temple, Guanyin Pavilion, Prince Pavilion, Eight Immortals Tower, Erhai Cliff Inscriptions, and Ink Pond.
