Daejeon Wanders

#summervacay Spent the day roaming around Daejeon, mostly Seo-gu and Yuseong-gu, and it was lowkey awesome. No tight schedule, just walking, snacking, and letting the city do its thing. Seo-gu had a really relaxed vibe. Lots of little cafes, bakeries, and cool side streets to explore. I ended up at this tiny book café where they served coffee in mismatched mugs and played indie music, total hidden gem. The whole area feels super livable, like the kind of place you could just melt into. Yuseong-gu was a different flavor, more lively, with hot springs spots, parks, and random street food finds. Tried some sweet hotteok from a stand and basically inhaled it. There’s also a river trail that’s perfect for just zoning out and walking with music in. Both areas have that lowkey charm that sneaks up on you. Not flashy, but full of small surprises. If you’re into wandering without a map, this part of Daejeon totally delivers.
