The Place with a Mysterious Temple Inside a Cave, 'Marble Mountain'

You can easily reach it by taking a taxi from downtown Da Nang. The entrance fee for Marble Mountain is 50,000 VND. Operating hours are from 7 AM to 5 PM. This site features six caves and shrines across five marble mountains. The names of the five mountains are derived from the principles of the five elements: Water Mountain, Metal Mountain, Wood Mountain, Fire Mountain, and Earth Mountain. The most notable temple here is Linh Ung Temple. It houses statues of Avalokitesvara and Tibetan Bodhisattvas, with its jade-like decor creating a luxurious ambiance. However, what truly moved me was the cave temple located in Metal Mountain. The natural light streaming through the ceiling illuminated the cave in a mystical way. Even if you're not a Buddhist, witnessing this scene might inspire you to pray. Among the various tourist spots I visited in Da Nang, Marble Mountain was the best for me. If you come to Da Nang, this is a must-visit destination.
