The Last Tear of the Atlantic: Sayram Lake

Visiting Sayram Lake this May, most of the snow on the mountains had already melted. The advantage of coming during this season is that the weather isn't too cold, and the crowds are much smaller compared to July and August. However, the downside is that you won't see the lush green grasslands in full bloom—only certain areas have larger patches of grass. Still, it's important to remember to wear a hat here, as the strong sun can be overwhelming and might even cause sunstroke.
