#InsomniaInExhibition Open the door to a parallel dimension of the human and spirit worlds with the exhibition "A Long Folklore" by artist Nai Krang and his friend, George (Boy - Nattapat Dissorn) 👻 The artist was inspired by his cultural background and the environment that surrounded him during his childhood in Surat Thani Province, a land full of stories and folklore that are deeply rooted in the souls of the people. His elder relatives often told mysterious stories and folktales that contained teachings through the strategies in the content. As he grew up, he was fascinated by stories of the supernatural and beliefs about the afterlife. He also studied the relationship between fear and ignorance, which humans use as tools to intimidate or control each other in society. "A Long Folklore" tells the story of a life that combines humans and the supernatural in a parallel dimension through the main character, Nai Krang, a thin man with a mysterious personality who has to face karma from many past lives. He has a companion, a Thai dog named George, who is actually a former angel who was punished to be reincarnated as a human. But turned into a dog due to a mistake in the cycle of karma. In the world of Mr. Krang and his friend George, the artist tells the story of the coexistence between humans, angels, ghosts, spirits, demons, and spirits in a parallel dimension filled with endless desires, happiness, suffering, and suffering. This world reflects the cycle of life and karma in a dark fantasy that is both mysterious and creepy, but still beautiful and powerful in its details. The exhibition presents works in various forms, including oil paintings, watercolors, and line drawings.
