The artist's works often reflect daily life, deep reflection in one's own mind, silence and contemplation of what happens in this process are conveyed through the image of a person covered with a large cloth, a symbol of safe space and hidden emotions. The highlight of the artist's work is the simple but powerful pattern and the use of a black background to create a quiet atmosphere like meditation. The colored lines that reduce the details to only the necessary, along with the use of Earth tones that blend and convey a simple feeling, enhance his work to be profound, as if inviting the viewer to walk into the awareness within themselves. Another interesting point is that the artist often uses various symbols in his work, such as a cloak that acts as a barrier between the outside world and the inner feelings, a crown that represents the power of mindfulness, or light and shadow that represents awareness. The artist was inspired by the book The Power of Now, which emphasizes the importance of being mindful of the present moment, and he seamlessly incorporates this concept into his artwork. In addition to the inspiration from the book, the artist also draws on his experience in the film industry in his artwork. The cinematic composition and the use of chiaroscuro lighting, inspired by Caravaggio, give his paintings a dramatic and profound mood. The lighting of the main characters while the background is covered in darkness, further intensifies the content that conveys awareness and self-discovery. The works in this exhibition do not only want the audience to receive the message, but also invite us to interpret it through our own experiences.
