#malaccatrip PARKROYAL A'Famosa Melaka Resort Staycation Details: Date: 3rd–4th March 2024 (1 night) Rate: RM387 including breakfast (booked via Trip.com) Room type: Deluxe Twin The hotel has just opened, previously known as A Famosa Hotel. It’s still owned by A Famosa but now managed by PARKROYAL. ✅ Check-in process was smooth and quick. We arrived at 2:00pm and the room was already ready, so we could go in straight away. Staff were very friendly and welcoming ✨ ✅ Upon entering the room, there were complimentary welcome treats – cute and tasty tarts! 😋 ✅ Welcome drinks could be redeemed at the pool bar or the lobby lounge ✅ No deposit required, but RM2 Malacca Heritage Tax is imposed on all guests ✅ Nearest eateries are at Freeport A’Famosa – you can grab food and shop at the same time 🤭 Room ✅ Spacious room with minimalist décor ✅ Complete amenities including iron, hairdryer, and bathrobe ✅ Pillows and mattress were very soft and comfy – well, it’s a new hotel 😄 ✅ Room view from the 3rd floor faces the golf course, but not much to see because trees were blocking the view; at night it was quite dark outside ✅ Air-conditioning was cold, and internet was fast 👍🏻 ✅ Standard hotel TV channels available – including sports, cartoons, and movies Facilities ✅ Outdoor pool for both adults and kids – very large, with a playground too ✅ Gym ✅ Free parking for guests Breakfast Definitely didn’t disappoint – lots of choices, all delicious, from pasta and pastries to Western and local food That’s all for my review.
