The hotel is located near the train station, which is convenient for traveling by train. If you drive, you need to park in the paid parking lot. The hotel is in a good environment, the lake opposite is very beautiful, and it is shrouded in clouds and mist in the morning. The hotel breakfast is rich!

Location of the hotel is close to the central bus and train station. The tram from the airport also stops nearby too. Breakfast spread is nice. Our room was along the corridor but we were unaware of any noises. The room we had could use a bit more lighting though, because it was quite dark. Otherwise, it was perfect.
A comfortable room... And I only had a standard room facing the mountain. Two comfortable armchairs for relaxing after long days of hiking were worth their weight in gold. A nice bathroom with a large shower. Overall, the room was above average in size. Breakfast was good. Unless a cruise ship was docked (usually around 7:30 a.m.), you could also have a view of the fjord from the breakfast room.

The hotel seems a little run down. I read through comments on here before booking and someone mentioned a hole in the tile in the bathroom and hotel management responded saying maintenance would be called. This comment was a couple of years ago and the hole is still there. I was in the annex building which is definitely more dilapidated. Maybe invest some of the money back into the hotel?
Also the guests in the room next to mine were having a party but the staff shut it down after speaking with them.
I’ve stayed in a about 12 hotels in the last five weeks traveling around Europe and this hotel is very close to the bottom of the list which is surprising as I expected more from the Norway leg of my journey.
The staff were very friendly though, it’s just a shame the hotel management doesn’t utilize their profits for the benefit of the hotel and staff.
In the city of Sogndal, there is a refrigerator, breakfast, public parking at the door N25/hour, standard room, area of 20 square meters, a bit large, so the heating is slow to heat, which may be the reason why the hotel rooms in Iceland and Norway are small in size. There is a pizza shop across the street. Exit the Laerdal tunnel, it takes about an hour

The location is right at the fish market, and the room window faces Bryggen and Floyen Mountain, which is a bit noisy at night. The hygiene is hard to describe, almost just the sheets and items are placed, which is much worse than other Scandic hotels.
We got a room facing the fjords and the view was chef kiss. The room was comfy, and I personally enjoyed the amenities in the bathroom. Breakfast was nice. We had a succulent dinner at Ægir Microbrewery, and I enjoyed their beer too. They are nice for a wet winter night, and I am sure they will be even better during summer days.
They should provide kettle in the room, but staff manage to get me kettle when i request over the counter. They shouldn’t indicate room come with mountain view,i have book mountain view room but when I asked the staff, they say only have harbour view room, no mountain view. It is confusing to have website saying mountain view.
The room is clean, close to the port, free parking, the boss is warm, you can eat fruits and sandwiches for free at night, breakfast is good, but the place is small, there is not much place to go

GGuest UserThe hotel is easily accessible to all touristic places in Bergen, it’s only 5mins to the Bergen habour.
Staff at the reception is friendly.
The room that we booked is a little bit small for two people but the interesting point of the room is the high glass ceiling.

JJohnOpus 16 was absolutely wonderful! the breakfast was great, room was clean, and most outstandingly was the service - which was absolutely superb! a wonderful hotel and will definitely stay here again whenever i'm in Bergen
GGuest UserGreat location esp to light rail, bybanen to airport 150m away from hotel. Central to everything incl Bryggen.
Rooms are small, dusty, noisy ! The hotel operates a club 2 floors above rooms and I guess they expect to sell rooms to drunken revelers who dont mind noisy music till 2 am in the morning - I do mind. Its been terrible as I have a morning flight and getting sleep was impossible.
AAToiI recently enjoyed a 3-night stay at Hotel No.13 in Bergen. While my room lacked windows, it was comfortable and cleaned daily, making it a pleasant place to return to after a day of travel. The absence of a window didn't bother me much, as I spent most of my time exploring the city. The check-in and check-out staff were notably friendly and helpful, which added to the overall positive experience. The daily breakfast included in my rate was basic.
What truly stands out is the hotel's convenient location which is near Byparken Station and walkable distance to the UNESCO World Heritage Site Bryggen one of the most popular tourist attractions in Norway. It is a historic wharf with colorful wooden houses dating back to the 14th century.
JJasin LinaMy 2nd stays when visit Bergen on October 2022 and April 2023 both visit are for 3 nights each stays. I love Thon hotel because the breakfast was amazing, so many varieties of food and delicious. The room is very nice and clean and comfortable beds. Shower room is nice and the adjustment of the water is perfect. I love the chocolate they serve in ours first check in. Delicious. Parking is not free but easy access. The hotel is located in the heart of Bergen old Town, only walk about 2 minutes from the lobby, beautiful Maria Church also 2 minutes from the lobby, definitely will come back...strongly recommend 😍 you can watch my channel about all hotels I recommend on WTLJ YouTube, thanks 😊
IIris-kaThe hotel was wonderful, amazing location with fantastic view of the fjords. Love the old traditional Norwegian details around in the common areas. The breakfast spread was super nice. We had a cider tour from the hotel lobby to one of the fruit farms in the area where we got to try 4 different ciders they had produced themselves. Also a few options for food around the hotel. We had pizza at lofthus expedition just a little walk from the hotel.
The only disappointing thing was that there was no shampoo left in the shower, very little conditioner and the shower soap was very watery. I will make sure not to forget my own hair product if I stay here again.
GGuest UserIt was a bit far from the station, but it was nice because it was right in front of the fish market.
The room was comfortable and spacious, and it was nice to have slippers.
It was a bit disappointing that there was no refrigerator.
I got it because I heard the dinner was delicious, but the quality was really bad.
There's some soup and a salad, and there's not much left...
I heard it was all-you-can-eat salmon, but that's definitely not the case.
JJoanThe location is very convenient, you can get there as soon as you get out of the station.
Breakfast has many choices and is delicious
Guests have direct access to the coffee machine
Reception staff were friendly.
I will choose this hotel again.
