Everything so good, but on our first day there breakfast in coffee house so full. Second day not full. Hotel provides shuttle to the safari. The rest is good.

Repeated stay due to convenient location with shopping malls, eateries and tourist attractions. However the check in experience was bad, wonder where are all the friendly n welcoming front desk staffs? Guests gotta greet them first before they greet guests😂 Used to meet many friendly n smiling FD staffs during my visits to stay at Hatten and even recommended my friends to stay at Hatten. But the standard of proffessionalism seems to drop.🤔My room aircon not cold enough n the room is humid, since only 1 night stay for this trip, the tiredness n the check in experience puts me off for a room change🙁 Almost slipped n fell in the bathroom due to water leaking to floor after shower. After checking maybe due to old rubber glass door strips not covering the full door panel thus causing water to escape😱😤 Despite all above, it is still my first choice n a good clean hotel to stay.😃 Just hope the hotel can go through some renovation to refresh and upgrade the rooms as some counter surface in the bathroom areas are chipped. Hope to see some family rooms with x2 double beds or x1 queen bed with x1 single bed with views too!😃

It's a nice hotel with good amenities and hospitality. Only thing is the location is towards the outskirt of Melaka, but it's okay since Grab car services is widely available. On the other hand, the outskirt location also gives some peaceful vibes, away from the city if you want to relax and rewind. There's a mall next to the hotel but too bad it didn't pull off. That had a bit of an impact on the aesthetic of the hotel.

Spacious room with comfortable bed. Housekeeping did a really great job in keeping the room clean. Pleased with the turn down service and thank you for the birthday deco! Lounge had a great variety of alcohol during cocktail session, but would be better if lounge staff were friendlier. WiFi access code was changed mid-way during the stay, but staff did not proactively inform us. Breakfast has a wide spread with the same dishes daily. Overall, still a great and comfortable stay.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Majestic and I can confidently say it exceeded all my expectations. This heritage hotel beautifully preserves its rich colonial history while offering modern comforts that make for a truly memorable experience. One of the highlights of my stay was the breakfast brunch — a delicious spread, made to order, with both local and international options, fresh fruits, and great coffee. I also appreciated the quiet, relaxing atmosphere at the restaurant. The location was perfect — close to key attractions, restaurants, and public transport, yet tucked away enough to provide a peaceful retreat after a busy day. Overall, The Majestic offers top-notch hospitality and comfort. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. I will definitely return on my next trip!

The hotel is in a very strategic location—right next to the Red House and within walking distance to Jonker Walk. We booked this place to celebrate our little one’s birthday, and he really enjoyed it! However, the slide next to the bed is quite steep and feels a bit dangerous for young children. We ended up placing a pillow at the bottom to protect him. It’s definitely a fun place for kids, but it can be a bit uncomfortable for adults. I slept on the bottom bunk of the double-decker bed, and even small movements made it quite noisy. A big shout-out to all the hotel staff—they were great. I mentioned we were traveling with a senior citizen, and they arranged a room close to the lift, which we really appreciated. Overall, it’s a nice room for kids and families

Staying there for 2 nights for medical check-up at Mahkota Hospital. To Mahkota is around 10-15 minutes walking. Or you could have Grab for 5 minutes. The hotel just close enough with restaurants, and others. Breakfast is fair enough with the budget. And the taste quite good.

I had a pleasant stay here. The hotel's location is ideal, with a short walking distance to Jonker Street. My kids thoroughly enjoyed the pool, and the view from our window was lovely. However, there was one major drawback - the noise levels were unacceptable. The guests staying upstairs were extremely loud, constantly pushing chairs, banging, and stomping. I wish they would be more considerate of those staying below. Despite this issue, the staff were friendly, and overall, my stay was still satisfactory.

Overall is very good but try avoid staying there during Friday and Saturday night because the road in front of the hotel is straight and is bikers favorite spot for their midnight racing. Illegal bike racing start on Friday and Saturday night at 3am and the racing sound pollution is annoying and cannot sleep at all from 3am till 4am.

This is our 2nd time staying in this hotel. It’s a building by itself with own compound. Ample parking space. It is build beside a cruise ship jetty(not sure if it’s in operation). Room is big, have all the amenities needed. Hair dryer, tooth brush, shampoo etc. The shampoo is Dove brand which is good as it has moisturizer. Bed is super big and comfortable, water pressure is good and air conditioning is not noisy. We had a good night sleep here. A few POI are walkable. Jonker street will be a little far (about 20 mins easy walk). Opposite is a shopping center. Overall is a good hotel to stay.
