Everything was fine, but I faced a problem with the lack of availability. For example, I contacted the receptionist in the morning and asked for the room to be cleaned and for my shoes to be changed (the room was cleaned, but the shoes were not provided). In the evening, I asked for the shoes to be provided, and the receptionist replied, ”Immediately,” but my request was not met.
The room was absolutely beautiful and very modern. It felt like home. I've done Hiltons and Kempinskis for double the price of Luxotel and yet I liked the Luxotel room more than the others. The staff is always there to respond to your wishes and takes care of you. The price of the restaurant is reasonable and the food is of excellent quality.
The only negative point I found was the lack of insulation of the bedroom door. The wind got in, as did the noise of people in the hallway.
Environment: Downstairs is the busiest commercial street in Aqaba, which is very convenient for eating and drinking.
Facilities: A bit old, but parking is free and self-driving is very convenient. However, four bottles of free mineral water were given every day during the two days we stayed, which is very grand for a Jordanian hotel.
Service: Both the front desk guy and the security guard are extremely warm and polite! When we were drinking coffee at the open-air cafe on the first floor (along the street), if we encountered tourists chatting up the welcome security, they would come over and politely interrupt to help us avoid unnecessary harassment and chatting, and ensure that the overly chatting male tourists left before he left! This sense of service is simply great!
The pool area is very nice. There are 2 adult pools, the family pools and the slide are located so as not to interfere with the adult pools. The beach is beautiful, you can snorkel. Very attentive service. The location of the hotel is great because it is right on the Red Sea. You can also have dinner outside of the hotel. The breakfast buffet is rich and varied. A very relaxed stay.
It's great, the swimming pool is not as big as expected, but the private beach is really great
Check-in is a bit slow because it is a one-to-one service
There is nothing to say about the room and other facilities, and the breakfast is also great
Booked the Red Sea sea view room, the view is invincible
First of all, I live in both Bubble and UFO. They both belong to the Luxotel camp and share the lobby and restaurant together. So it can be compared that the good thing is that the camp is beautiful and the room is a relatively luxurious tent. The air conditioner is warm and cold. Self-control, Bubble has hot water but I didn’t have hot water when I took a bath in UFO (washed within the time they stipulated), breakfast and dinner buffet are included in it, the food is very rich, and there are restaurants that can be ordered all day during the day But the food is very average, but it is understandable because most of the guests go out to play during the day. Because of the structure, Bubble needs to be blown by air all the time, so it is noisier than UFO, but it is brighter because it is basically transparent and more One room, UFO is like a tent, and it feels more solid. When it rained heavily on the first night in Bubble, a little rain still seeped in. This is not good or bad, it depends on personal preference
Let me talk about the points to pay attention to. First of all, it is a place that defrauds tourists. The drinks in the restaurant are all above 3JD, which is equivalent to 30 yuan for a bottle of Coke, and a plate of the simplest pasta costs more than 100 yuan. If you If you want to exchange money, the exchange rate given by the hotel is much lower than outside, because the hotel is in the desert, unless you are driving a four-wheel drive SUV, don't follow the navigation to drive inside! There is their meeting point at the motorway exit closest to the hotel, park there and let them pick you up! I was so focused on driving that I didn’t notice this, and as a result, I drove the car into the desert and ran aground according to the navigation. I called them to ask them to rescue them, but they insisted that I send them the location by WhatsApp. I said I didn’t even have it. How to send it to you! I explained several times that I used googlemap to get here from Petra, and now I am 10 minutes away from you, which is 4.7 kilometers away (Figure 4). You can follow the navigation on googlemap and walk backwards to find me, wouldn’t it be good? ! But they refused to listen to them, and asked me to send the address over and over again. After more than an hour, I gave up waiting and started hiking in the desert for more than one kilometer. I found a car and rescued me. A driver from another camp and his car The Russian tourist helped dig my car tires out of the sand and helped me drive the car to a place where I could see the camp, the big Russian guy asked me where I was from, I said China, then he said Russia and China We have always been good friends 👏, so cute! I finally arrived at the camp just like surviving in the wilderness, but no one cared about how I saved myself in the end! ? And complained that two cars lined up to find me! ? Because that afternoon I also arranged to see the performance on the train (included in the Jordan pass), which is actually not far from their meeting place. I want to pick up and drop off at the hotel because I don’t dare to drive anymore. They I asked for 40JD in cash, and I didn’t allow it to be recorded in the room. You know, I also asked for 40JD in cash when I traveled the next day. I said that I really only have 37JD left, and the driver said that’s ok, please take it carefully.
First, I’ll note the advantages, of which there are many:
- cool atmosphere around and in the evening (the unique flavor of Arab culture is created by the dabka dance, which is danced by top managers of the hotel together with male visitors immediately after dinner)
- cozy courtyard
- the dome room has everything you need to take a shower and relax.
- we were fed several times for free (access to the restaurant buffet)
- interesting food (but the choice is quite modest)
Minuses:
- it’s very hot in the dome during the day (air conditioning will not improve the situation), but we were offered to wait in another tent room, for which thanks to the hotel managers.
- synthetic bedding and blankets
- there is no lunch, so if you want to eat you need to take something in reserve (the camp only has breakfast and dinner)
Overall, a cool place.
-
The hotel is generally excellent, but a little tired. It is worth considering: in winter the swimming pools are open until sunset, there is an indoor jacuzzi and baths (separate for men and women; open until 23:00). You can bring one bottle of alcohol and sealed grocery items into the hotel. You cannot bring food from restaurants outside the hotel.

DDafetahiOur stay at Shaheen Camp was an incredible experience, even though we were transferred to Hasan Zawaideh Camp due to the low season. Since the camps are next to each other, and likely have the same owners, the transition was seamless, and we were warmly welcomed upon arrival.
From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was exceptional. The staff made sure we felt at home, offering delicious tea, traditional dance, and live music, creating a truly immersive Bedouin experience. The variety of tours and activities they provided allowed us to explore the breathtaking landscapes of Wadi Rum in an unforgettable way.
The food was outstanding—authentic, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Every meal felt like a special occasion, adding to the magic of our stay.
The only minor point for improvement was the bed setup, as it was made up of two single beds combined, but honestly, this was such a small detail compared to the overall incredible experience we had.
If you’re looking for a welcoming, authentic, and memorable stay in Wadi Rum, I highly recommend Shaheen and Hasan Zawaideh Camp. I would gladly return for another unforgettable adventure!
MMaajyAbsolutely loved the stay at Luxotel. From the moment you srrive till you leave, you’re taken care of by a pleasant group of staff. The rooms are clean and nice and words can’t express how unreal the place is. Secluded and you don’t get wifi in the room which keeps you away from the busy life.
The food at the restaurant is amazing with a vast array of delectable foods. I thoroughly enjoy the stay.
Also, please arrange the 4 hour tour for 70 JOD with the hotel. We had a sunset tour and it was by far the best thing I’ve done today. Loved the stay and the staff and so thankful for making the stay unreal.

GGuest UserGood value hotel in Jordan
I have stayed in 5 hotels during 11 days of trip in Jordan. This is the best one !⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
All of the staffs are so friendly and nice. The restaurant staff is helpful and considerate . On the second day morning, she remembered my breakfast preference 😨, even the details.
There’s an Italian restaurant right near the hotel. You can enjoy discount yet there were cakes, drinks and shisha.
The room is so comfortable and new. I love the design. The night view is so lovely and magnificent. The amenity are good , it’s way better than Movenpick hotel. This hotel offers Dead Sea products for the guests. You can have free drinks from the fridge as well.

VVasgasIn general, I recommend this place. This hotel is designed for travelers with a rented car.
Before checking in, contact the staff. They will give you a phone number. I contacted them via WhatsApp. We were told where to come and leave our car, it was a gas station, and then they took us away in their Toyota Hilux. When checking in, we were offered a package of services: a 4-hour jeep tour of the Wadi Rum desert, unlimited dinner but drinks are paid, and a night excursion to the desert with lying on the sand, tea and hookah. Everything costs 200 JD for two. We did not bargain, everything suited us. There is also an excellent breakfast with drinks included in the price of accommodation.
We were given room M5, this is a bungalow on the 1st line. The view from the window is gorgeous. There is a good bathroom, towels and toiletries. Two single beds, a balcony. Air conditioning. No TV. A table and two chairs.
WIFI is only in the restaurant area.
