Hotel Dengan bar di Terengganu, Malaysia

We’ve truly enjoyed our stay at Peridot. The Long Beach Villa room is beautifully decorated. The view from the room is breathtaking & it's really nice to be waking up by the sound of sea waves. Love their L'Occitane toiletries as well.  However, as the hotel is still undergoing some renovations, there are not many amenities available around the hotel. Upon checking in, we were so hungry after a long drive from SG, but the restaurant was closed at 2pm. The only options we were offered were to go to the other hotels' restaurants along the beach. The à la carte menus provided did not have much variety either. To get halal food was quite a distance from Peridot. But no choice; after freshening up, we walked along the beach and just asked around if we could have our late lunch there. Breakfast varieties were limited. For the price we paid, it could have been better. I love their chicken nuggets, though!  At night, it can be quite quiet around the area, but it was not an issue for us, as we love the quiet vibes and enjoy our peaceful nights there. The WIFI connection was really bad. So we got to use our data most of the time. Apart from the food issue, the rooms had power trips quite frequently on our 2nd & 3rd days of our stay there.  Overall it was a great experience for us. The room is clean, and basic amenities are fulfilled. Please note they are still in their soft launch; expect to be fully operational by March 2026. I hope I can come back by then & the facilities will be fully functional and improved.

Kawasan hotel banyak tempat utk bergambar, Aktiviti percuma & berbayar juga ada disediakan untuk pelancong yang datang. Bagi preggy mum,mungkin agak struggle sebab ada bilik yang mendaki bukit. Breakfast boleh dipuji, dari segi rasa dan pilihan menu. Staff semuanya friendly dan membantu apa yang patut.

The service and the people were honestly so nice super friendly and helpful, especially the reception staff and the bus driver who drove us to and from our rooms the whole trip. The rooms were okay, I’d give them a 4/5. But the food? Absolutely terrible. This was hands down the worst food I’ve ever had at any hotel in my life. The boiled eggs were rotten, the bread was old and stale there was literally nothing worth eating. As for the private beach… total disaster. You have to go down a lot of stairs just to get to this so-called beach, which ended up being full of garbage and sharp rocks. Definitely not the relaxing beach experience anyone would hope for.

Hotel itu sendiri dan lokasinya bagus. Cuacanya cerah, sehingga aktivitas air bisa dilakukan dan menyenangkan. Terima kasih untuk penjaga pantai yang bekerja keras di pantai dan pelayan restoran yang penuh perhatian. Namun, layanan di bagian resepsionis dan manajer yang menangani peningkatan kamar berbayar harus lebih ditingkatkan lagi untuk pengalaman tamu yang lebih baik. Bukan pengalaman bintang 5. Lol. Semoga mereka dapat meningkatkan komunikasi dan koordinasi kamar yang lebih baik. Marriott/Shangrila akan melakukan ini dengan cara yang jauh lebih baik. Mungkin saya yang menaruh harapan lebih tinggi pada Taaras Apakah resor ini layak untuk diulang? Mungkin TIDAK. Pokoknya terima kasih atas pengalamannya

Bilik yang saya sewa tanpa tingkap, tapi sangat puas hati. Setiap hati cleaner dtg tukar cadar dan kemaskan bilik. Tandas sgt bersih. Bilik sederhana besar, dgn tempahan harga yang murah, saya igtkan bilik sgt kecil tetapi tidak. Sarapan pagi yang sedap tapi ada masalah teknikal dimana masa saya book di trip.com it is with breakfast tapi di system hotel tak ada breakfast. Tapi bila tunjuk app trip.com yg saya ada breakfast, staff bagi masuk. Yang tak bestnya asyik kena validate parking ticket sebelum keluar. Overall

I wanna give some information about the garden villa and ocean villa, garden villa is way better than ocean villa , it has private yard, it’s a little far from the lobby for more privacy and peace, but ocean villa is near the restaurant and it’s not private, the residence of gardens villa should pass by ocean villas to get to their room and it’s not even beach front, it doesn’t have private yard so the guests couldn’t open the curtains and use the view 🫣it should be half price of garden villa but it’s more expensive 😑 the toilet and bathroom doesn’t have door but has view to garden. The stuff are great. 👍🏼 The food is the best in the island but totally is average. Snorkeling with firus was amazing.😝 Everything is perfect, I highly recommend this villa.🫶🏻

We had an unexpectedly beautiful 4D3N stay at Redang Divers Resort. Initially hesitant due to the 3.2 rating, we booked as it was the only available option, but it turned out to be the best decision.From the warm yet respectful service by Wei to meeting the humble owners Adrian and his wife, everything felt genuine and comfortable. The food was outstanding (we truly miss the food!) honestly among the best we had in Redang.The beachfront view was amazing, white sand and turquoise sea right in front of our room. Simple, raw island vibes, clean rooms, and a truly heartfelt experience for our family. A small note: the toilet flooring could use an upgrade, but we understand refurbishment is already underway with the new management.Not a “luxury” resort, but definitely 5-star in heart, service, and overall experience.We’ll definitely be back. Thank you for making us feel at home!
