The hotel was more conveniently located for public transportation (trolleybus) to Salzburg city center than I had expected. Many lines pass right in front of the hotel, and there is a large shopping mall and supermarket next door, where we could easily purchase groceries during our stay. Despite the hotel being very busy and crowded with guests, the staff at the reception desk and the breakfast restaurant were all friendly and attentive. The view from the hotel lobby was also very nice. One neutral point is that the hotel's entrance sign on Sterneckstrasse could be improved. We spent about two minutes walking around the building trying to find the entrance. Perhaps you could consider adding more signage or a clearer indication of where the entrance is? Unfortunately, I encountered some issues that overshadowed these positive aspects. Having had a very satisfying experience at a BW hotel in Bologna, Italy (which I hadn’t expected much from since it was just a one-night stay during a road trip, but everything from the breakfast to the bed and interior was fantastic), I had high expectations for this BW Plus hotel as well. Since I visited during a busy tourist season, I didn’t expect an early check-in and everything seemed fine until I entered the room in the evening. First, I found what appeared to be traces of a previous guest in the toilet—yes, a small spot of something brown. It was tiny, less than a quarter the size of a fingernail, but it was still noticeable. I have poor eyesight and often get scolded by my wife for not noticing things like this. I also noticed similar dried brown stains on the bathroom floor, which I assumed were the same thing. The showerhead had limescale and mold, which didn’t leave a good impression. These are issues that could be easily resolved with a bit of bleach, and I thought it would be nice if the housekeeping staff paid more attention to such details. The most disappointing thing was the pillow filling, which I’ll simply attach a photo of here. Many guests, especially those from Asia, praised the breakfast highly in Google reviews, so I had some expectations. However, having stayed at many hotels in Europe, I didn’t find it particularly special. In terms of taste, I would rate it around 70-80 out of 100. (To be specific, I would compare it to breakfast at other four-star hotels like the Grand Hotel International Prague or the Holiday Inn City in Düsseldorf) In conclusion, despite these issues, I still want to give the hotel a 4-star rating. This is because I was able to book a room just two weeks before my trip for a rate of around 150 euros per night, which is quite reasonable during peak season in this area. I am confident that with a little more attention to cleanliness and room hygiene, this hotel could quickly improve its customer satisfaction. Despite the concerns about hygiene, I was overall satisfied with my stay at this hotel. This review is written not as a criticism but as a form of encouragement. would definitely come back & stay at H+ Salzburg if i have the chance to go Salzburg again. The bus & train stations are just right in front of the hotel, make it easier to go to Hallstatt or the outskirts. There’s a mall beside and a lot of good food around too. The view from the hotel was amazing too, not to mention that the front desk was super informative and friendly. i felt welcome! hope to see you again H+ Salzburg 👋

Tinggal di hotel selama 1 malam. Ruangannya terang dengan jendela besar. Dua botol air soda gratis diberikan sebagai bonus. We hebben hier 2 nachten verbleven. Er waren een paar punten voor verbetering vatbaar: de wifi op de 2e etage is onvoldoende en kan wifi-versterkers gebruiken. De matrassen hebben hun beste tijd gehad. De houten bedrand is hoog waardoor je er ‘s nachts makkelijk tegenaan stoot (au!). Eén bedlampje was kapot. De doorgaande weg maakt bovengemiddeld veel lawaai; de dubbele ramen zijn niet helemaal afdoende; slapen is alleen mogelijk als alle ramen dicht zijn. Geen airco. Op het balkon zitten is hierdoor niet leuk. De keuken is prima! Flinke porties. Er is geen lift. Ligging aan de rand van het dorp; een flinke wandeling naar het dorpscentrum.

Kami sangat menikmati waktu kami selama menginap di sini. Lokasinya sangat bagus. Berjarak dekat dengan jalan tua dan sekitar 15 menit berjalan kaki ke sebagian besar tempat wisata dan museum (dan halte bus tepat di depan menuju stasiun!). Kamar hotel sangat bersih dengan fasilitas kamar yang tidak banyak, namun di lounge lantai dasar tersedia air, kopi, dan teh gratis 24 jam. Sarapan gratis juga menjadi daya tarik tersendiri! Kami tidak berharap banyak, tetapi mereka memiliki pilihan roti, ham, keju, yogurt, selai, telur orak-arik, dan teh serta kopi (dengan susu) yang sangat beragam. Roti bebas gluten juga tersedia berdasarkan permintaan! Para pelayan saat sarapan sangat ramah dan membantu! Kami sangat menikmati masa menginap kami di sini!
