I recently stayed at the Widder Hotel and my experience was disappointing overall. Despite being granted an “upgrade” through American Express Fine Hotels and Resorts, the room was still small and not what I expected for the price, which was over $500 per night. The real disappointment came from the service at their restaurant, August, where a waiter displayed an arrogant and highly selective attitude towards guests. I did not feel welcomed, and for such a high-end establishment, I expected a more accommodating atmosphere. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this hotel based on my experience.
