There are several inns from top to bottom. Their location is not the highest. After leaving the parking lot, you have to walk a long dirt road and stone steps to the bottom. It is a bit inconvenient for elderly people with mobility problems. Fortunately, the inn staff will carry a large backpack to help you carry your suitcase. I was afraid that my 28-inch suitcase would not fit, so they had to help us deliver it to the parking lot the next day. Although the view is not as wide as the above inns, it feels closer to the terraces. In addition to the view room, there is also an outdoor platform where you can drink tea, sunbathe and enjoy the view. The interior is very unique and romantic, and feels very warm. There are a few sofa cushions on the wooden staircase, and I feel like I can sit there for an afternoon to drink tea, read books, and bask in the sun. The room is also quite warm, with air conditioning, electric blankets, and a large shower room with separate wet and dry areas. You can enjoy the view from the large French window, but I still set up a tripod to take a time-lapse photo early in the morning. The sunrise was about 7:50, and I felt like I had been waiting for half an hour and it still hadn't come out. I couldn't help but go upstairs to the room, but it suddenly jumped out. The innkeeper thought it wouldn't come out today, but fortunately he took a photo and asked him to send it to me. If you come to Yuanyang Terraces, I suggest staying here, so you don't have to rush to the viewing platform early in the morning to watch the sunrise.

I would say everything was great except the room. Location -- this is the main reason I choose the place. The rice terrace is in front of your room. Superb. There is rooftop to see sunrise too However, the place is not accessible for car. You need to park your car at car park around 300m from the hotel, call the hotel to pick up your luggage and you walk to the hotel by foot. It's not suitable for people with walking difficulties. Service'-- toiletries are generous. Breakfast is great with various options. Rooms are cleaned daily with new top up of toiletries and slippers. We can do laundry too. Detergent are provided. Why I give amenities 2 stars only? It's because I meed somewhere to give feedback on the room. I stayed for 3 nights at 2nd floor. There are 3 rooms of the same kind. However, my room has weird design. While the other two have perfect squarie room and spacious, our room, at thr most corner is smaller with bad design. There are wall built to cut off a space around 2x3 m. See pictures. It”s hard to put our luggage. There is sofa without tables. I suspect no space to add a table as it will block to walk way, not so confortable.

This time I went to Yuanyang to see the terraced fields. I looked at several homestays on Ctrip and finally booked Yifangyuandian. The homestay, Yuntu and Huawowo are all on the hillside cliff of Duoyishu terraced fields. The viewing position is excellent, almost the same as the view from the viewing platform of Duoyishu Scenic Area. The terrace and floor-to-ceiling windows in the room face the Duoyishu Rice Terraces. There is no need to squeeze into the observation deck in the morning. The proprietress was also very welcoming. After she made a phone call when she got to the main road, she drove a small electric car to help with the luggage. The homestay also provides stir-fried dishes at a reasonable price. I will stay at her house next time I come to the terraced fields.

You can take photos and check in, giving you a strong rural feel. The hotel's hygiene is commendable because it is newly opened and all facilities and equipment are relatively new. The bathroom is TOTO and the sheets and quilts are very good to the touch. I read online reviews that the fog here is very heavy and I am afraid of humidity, but there is no smell at all in the room. No, the next day I saw that the cleaning staff were still using disinfecting lights in every room. The restaurant is on the edge of a terraced field 100 meters away. Sitting by the window is a picture. The dishes are more local, delicious and not expensive. The ingredients are fresh. There is a shelf full of brewed wine. We all tasted it. Very tasty. The service is worthy of praise. After checking in, the lady at the front desk will bring us to a big screen, introduce us to the tourist map of the scenic spot in detail, and name the restaurants that locals go to most often. In the evening, she will also invite you to follow They baked tofu and chatted together. Friends from all over the world sat together, which was quite atmospheric.

The B&B has a dedicated parking lot, which is a few hundred meters away from the B&B. There are steps and stone paths, and it is a test of physical strength to carry a lot of things. The B&B is located next to the terraced fields, with a good view, comfortable facilities, good hygiene, and good sound insulation and heat preservation of the balcony doors and windows. The only problem is that the room door is not soundproof. When a wave of ******* guests are unscrupulous, they continue to make loud noises upstairs and downstairs for several hours at night, affecting rest. You can eat in the B&B, which is very convenient. It is not easy to open a B&B in the mountains to be hygienic and comfortable, and there are several local Hani aunts and sisters employed. Full marks!
