Hotel dengan Sarapan Pagi di Yuanyang

I would say everything was great except the room. Location -- this is the main reason I choose the place. The rice terrace is in front of your room. Superb. There is rooftop to see sunrise too However, the place is not accessible for car. You need to park your car at car park around 300m from the hotel, call the hotel to pick up your luggage and you walk to the hotel by foot. It's not suitable for people with walking difficulties. Service'-- toiletries are generous. Breakfast is great with various options. Rooms are cleaned daily with new top up of toiletries and slippers. We can do laundry too. Detergent are provided. Why I give amenities 2 stars only? It's because I meed somewhere to give feedback on the room. I stayed for 3 nights at 2nd floor. There are 3 rooms of the same kind. However, my room has weird design. While the other two have perfect squarie room and spacious, our room, at thr most corner is smaller with bad design. There are wall built to cut off a space around 2x3 m. See pictures. It”s hard to put our luggage. There is sofa without tables. I suspect no space to add a table as it will block to walk way, not so confortable.

This is a gem. The room absolutely looks like in the pictures. It is wonderful to sip tea in the glass abode and look at the rice terraces. Speaking of the rice terraces, in this hotel you are even closer to them than if you go to the official Duoyishu viewpoint. Duoyishu being by far the best viewpoint. So basically, it does not get any better than just looking at them from your room or from the viewing platform on top of the hotel. Only small issue that existed - room is not that big and optimized for looking nice, so no cupboard to put your clothes. They serve dinner for 50-60 CNY per dish (large portion), and it is tasty. The breakfast is great. The manager organized a private car for me back to Honghe at reasonable price. Go here.

The place is very worth visiting. The room is good equipped, everything is like on the photo. The host and stuff is very friendly by helping with luggage but the international tourists should be aware that the communication with host is available only be telephone in Chinese. It is necessary even for check-in and check-out. It can be not so easy. We were expected to get a little bit more information but you can get help only if you approach the host directly. It is easier to arrive because there are a lot of cars on the station in Xinjie, but it is more complicated to get back to the station. But it is possible to catch a car directly on the road for 30-40 yuan pro person. There are only few restaurants in the walking distance. A lot depends on the weather, without good weather the view is sadly very limited. Before arriving is recommended to take a look in the weather forecast!!

The inn is located in a quiet village in Duoyishu. Location was good - about 15 to 20 mins walk from Duoiyishu terrace viewing platform, and there was a small restaurant near the inn. The Hani caretaker was hospitable and showed me the way to get to the terrace fields in the village. It was so wonderful being able to get so close to the rice terraces! Here, you could view the sunrise without having to pay the 70yuan charged at the viewing platforms. Do note that the 70 yuan ticket allows access to the other viewing platforms as well, and is good for 72 hours. I had a free upgrade to a bigger room with large windows and a view. The room was clean and the bed was so comfortable with an electric blanket. Owner is fluent in both Chinese and English, and was helpful in arranging my transport and giving advice on the sunrise viewing spots. I have beautiful memories of my stay in Duoyishu, would like to come back again!
