"This stay was the highlight of our trip, the beauty of the rice terraces coupled with our experience at the hotel made it special. By chance we chose a smaller village and a hotel that was just open for 6 months, the room, ameneties were great and the staff very helpful. Location is approximately a 4 hour drive from Kunming with the last 40km winding up the mountain. Hotel is located 350m down a path from the car park (contact the hotel staff and they will meet you at the car park to help with your baggage). Staff very friendly and helpful, all our requests were meet with ease. Stay here to easily visit Azheke Village (at time of review undergoing extensive renovation). We visited in at the start of August, despite rainy weather most of our stay we still managed to capture some good views down the valley. "
