"Hotel ini mengerikan! Jangan pernah memesan di sini! Pertama, hotel ini belum lama beroperasi, tetapi ada bau apek yang aneh di lorong-lorong, dan kualitas udaranya sangat buruk. Kedua, staf resepsionis sangat tidak ramah! Saya memesan sendirian, dan ketika saya melakukan reservasi, saya memilih kamar dengan tempat tidur king size berdasarkan gambar (reservasi dengan jelas menyatakan "tempat tidur king size"). Saat check-in, saya menemukan dua tempat tidur single, sama sekali tidak tersentuh. Saya segera menyeret koper saya ke bawah ke resepsionis untuk menunjukkan reservasi saya dan bertanya apakah mereka memberi saya kamar yang salah. Resepsionis tidak menjelaskan sepatah kata pun dan hanya mengganti kamar saya. Ketika saya sampai di kamar baru, saya menemukan itu adalah kamar twin lagi. Tanpa berpikir panjang, saya kembali ke bawah ke resepsionis untuk bertanya, dan sekali lagi, resepsionis tidak mengatakan apa pun dan hanya memberi saya kunci kamar baru (meskipun saya memberi tahu mereka bahwa saya memesan kamar dengan tempat tidur king size setiap kali). Setelah mengetahui bahwa saya masih diberi kamar twin setelah berganti kamar tiga kali, saya mulai meragukan diri sendiri. Saya turun ke bawah dengan koper saya untuk bertanya lagi ke resepsionis. Kali ini, resepsionis yang telah mengganti kamar saya tiga kali sebelumnya sudah tidak ada. Resepsionis lain memberi tahu saya bahwa hotel mereka tidak memiliki tempat tidur ukuran king, hanya kamar twin. Tempat tidur ukuran king yang saya lihat di halaman pemesanan mengharuskan saya untuk menggabungkan dua tempat tidur single (terlepas dari apakah ada celah besar di tengahnya)... Pada saat itulah ketidakwaspadaan saya akhirnya muncul dan saya menyadari bahwa saya telah dimanfaatkan oleh resepsionis itu! Dia tahu bahwa saya telah bertanya tentang tempat tidur ukuran king, tetapi dia tidak mau mengatakan sepatah kata pun untuk menjelaskan bahwa hotel mereka tidak memiliki tempat tidur ukuran king. Dia memperhatikan saya, seorang perempuan, menyeret koper besar saya naik turun tangga tiga atau empat kali, dan harus menunggu dalam antrean untuk bertanya kepadanya (*****tara orang lain juga sedang check-in)!"

"Hands down, this was the best hostel I've stayed at in Europe. While the facilities were excellent, the staff's incredible kindness truly made this place special. I arrived early after a night train, intending just to drop off my luggage, but was immediately met with a warm welcome. They even prepared a spot for me to rest well before the official check-in time, which was incredibly thoughtful and much-needed. The facilities are top-notch; they offer complimentary cereal, coffee, and tea in the kitchen. The location is also unbeatable, right at the foot of Heidelberg Castle, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing. I would absolutely choose this hostel again on my next visit. Highly recommended! ☺️"

"The hotel didn't honour our booking and was outright rude about it. We booked and paid for 2 Deluxe rooms via Trip.com. When we arrived, they gave us one Deluxe room and another thing they call "apartment" – a stuffy, mould-smelling room in a separate annex, without a bathroom or toilet (see photos). When we questioned this, it got worse: First, one staff member claimed the hotel doesn't have 2 Deluxe rooms. When I pointed out there are photos of multiple Deluxe rooms online, he changed his story and said I hadn't booked 2 Deluxe rooms. Then the "manager" came. He accused me of lying. I showed him my Trip.com receipt and he refused to accept it because it was in English, not German – claiming it wasn't a valid document. He then said: They "hate dealing with Trip.com guests" Trip.com charges them high fees, so he wouldn't help I should contact Trip.com myself (their support that Sunday evening was just a chatbot) If I had booked directly, they might have helped – but since I used Trip.com, it was my problem I even offered to pay extra for a proper room. They refused. In the end, the three of us had to squeeze into one Deluxe room because the "apartment" was unhealthy to sleep in. We asked for an extra mattress – they refused that too. If you're considering staying there: be warned."

"The hotel is next to the train station but there is an abandoned big shop in between the station and hotel. Walking to the hotel at night can be dangerous for solo traveller, in front of the place is a car park, and many stranger and homeless people is around the station. However, the bus and tram station is also next to the main station, it make it very convenient to the market. The room is smelly (not smoking smell) , not sure what it is. Front desk staff is helpful and allowed to store luggage during checkout."

"If you like to party until 5 a.m., this is the place for you. However, if you want to sleep, you should definitely avoid booking a room facing the street or a side street. Our group of 10 colleagues knew we were in the city center, in a pedestrian zone, but not for this chaos. Every 10 seconds there was shouting, banging, constant insults, people urinating against the building... I didn't get a single second of peace (with the windows closed, of course). We found a good, amicable solution the next day. Thanks to the hotel management for that. Some of my colleagues weren't so lucky... I even had to listen to a staff member say, "Everyone knows it's noisy here." The night porter, however, was the most aggressive after I asked for a different room (facing the courtyard) at 3 a.m. "What do you think you're doing? You're in the city center of Heidelberg, a city with 45,000 students!" He was about to give me the finger… To be clear: Yes, we knew we were in the city center, and also that it might be noisy. But windows that didn't block out the noise in the slightest and the aforementioned disaster until 5 a.m., followed by street cleaning (smashed beer bottles, vomit…) – we weren't THAT aware of that. So: Anyone wanting to stay at this hotel will find nice rooms and a good breakfast. However, for sleeping, you have to choose a room facing the courtyard."

Untuk hotel dengan standar seperti ini, pelayanannya nol. Saya tidak akan kembali lagi. P.S.: Handuk tambahan untuk putri saya sangat bersih tetapi… penuh lubang. ;)"
