Yangshuo Xijieli No.9 Meisu

Because we stayed here during low season, breakfast was not what we expected. They told us that it was because there were to few guests. I understand that, and the breakfast they made was also good, but not what we booked.

Beautiful facilities at the hotel and super service. We were even allowed to check in early on our day of arrival. The receptionist is absolutely lovely and very patient and knowledgeable, giving us tips and answering all our questions about travelling around Yangshuo. She even helped us book a few things and was so so helpful all-round - it was fantastic! Thanks you so much! Xie xie :)

Location was great - the famous Xijie was just around the corner. Room was decent in size and reasonably clean. Staff were quite helpful. It was good value for it’s price.

Stayed in Zen VIP room on the 6th floor. It was exactly how it was described and we loved it! None of the receptionists speaks English but one of them in particular is extremely kind and helpful. Use your translation app to converse and communicate unless one of your people speaks Chinese. We are American/Japanese mixed family and our daughter assisted us as a translator (she takes Chinese at school). For Guilin and Yangshuo, it’s not easy without Chinese. I highly recommend staying at a hotel with English speaking receptionists unless you or someone in your group speaks Chinese to maximize the stay (or hire a guide). The breakfast is only 15 RMB and it’s super simple Chinese food. If you want western style, you must stay at a different hotel. They have rental bikes but they run out fast Overall, this hotel was amazing for us. The room, location, kind receptionist and room cleaning lady. The pictures are taken from our room. Highly recommend this for the right people. .

This place is clean, modern, very well located, and with an amazing customer service. A lady from the reception helped me getting a cab to the bus station, and even paid for it, to my surprise, without allowing me to pay back (I was on a rush and the app used in China was not working). I cannot be more grateful. Thank you, an do not hesitate about booking in this place when visiting Yangshuo.
