Ulasan Yangshuo Zen Garden Resort

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights and we thoroughly loved it. The environment is very peaceful and zen-like. It is next to farmland and a short few minutes walk to Yulong River. All attractions are within a short drive. The resort offers many free activities such as photo shoot, Qi-Gong exercises, arts and craft session,, foot bath in the room and free afternoon tea. The staff are excellent, special mention goes to Wendy, the manager. She is polite and friendly and even drove us to the West Street personally when the driver could not reach us in time. I would stay here again if I am back in Yangshuo.

Stayed for two nights with our toddler and infant. Staff was very helpful; breakfast was wonderful (both traditional and Western). Self service laundry is available (and free of charge). Room was comfortable size even with crib brought in. Would stay again!

Zen Garden was our most remote hotel during our China tour. The location is undeniably beautiful, offering stunning views of the hills and mountains. However, despite receiving an upgrade after the first night, we found the price-quality ratio unsatisfactory. We paid the same amount for our stay in a five-star hotel the following day in Nanjing, which provided a significantly better room and breakfast. Since its opening in 2017, the hotel appears to have undergone little to no maintenance. There is noticeable wear and tear on the building, and the toilet emitted a strong sewage odor, which was quite unpleasant. Communication was a challenge as Cindy was the only staff member who spoke English properly. When she wasn't available, it was difficult to communicate in person. Fortunately, the WeChat communication was an excellent alternative and made things easier. On a positive note, the afternoon tea and dinner were quite good, offering healthy and fresh options. Breakfast was very limited and none Western options except an egg and white toast with butter. The complimentary zen shoot was a nice touch, although it was apparent that it was the photographer's first time conducting such a shoot. We were particularly disappointed with the spa. The treatments were much different than expected, lacking the luxury and expertise typically associated with such high prices. Additionally, the cost for two people was almost the same as the room rate, which we found unreasonable. Overall, while Zen Garden's location and some amenities were enjoyable, the lack of maintenance, high prices, and communication difficulties detracted from our experience. With all the new buildings in the same area, there are better options.

We had a very pleasant stay at Zen Garden Resort. The staff are very kind and helpful, and can arrange free shuttles to anywhere within 7km of the Resort (which is close enough for several attractions and Yangshuo town). The room was quite spacious and comfortable, with a spectacular view of the surrounding mountains. We particularly enjoyed the incense and tea in the room which set a very relaxing mood. The Resort also offers a range of activities like breathing meditations in the morning and lantern decorating at night which we enjoyed. The restaurant was especially excellent for all meals, and even provide free afternoon tea from 3-4pm. The fat cat in the lobby, Baozi, and the small dogs were lovely to have around. It’s within about 10-20 minutes drive away from most attractions the area, but there are also some nice walks you can do around the Resort. A bit on the expensive side, but you will definitely have a good time here.

The hotel is situated about 200 metres behind the Yulong river and nested in a quiet village, tucked not too far away from the tourist attractions of the Shili Hualang 十里画廊. The scenery is great and generally very, very calm. The management team is extremely helpful and friendly, even when we left a few items bought from them, we got a full refund quickly as it was the most convenient for us. Great for vegetarian - the hotel runs a good vegetarian (Chinese) options. Their western options are really limited to toast and butter served with coffee. Great if you are ok with a Chinese menu. We loved their cat, 包子 the most. The cute and chubby Garfield cat enjoys Yangshuo more than anyone there. Unfortunately their pool was under renovation during the hot weather season while we were there. Otherwise it could've been even better. Generally clean rooms. Great for couples, retirees and young families.

Lotus lantern: It’s placed in a large lotus pond at the back, it should be more beautiful in summer Service: Borrow traditional costumes to take photos, the photographer with black glasses is super online, will help guide poses, and the emotional value is full; in the afternoon, because it rained and there was nowhere to go, I wanted to write in the lobby, and my friend and I wrote seriously for nearly 2 hours There are both cats and dogs in the store!

This stay was very satisfying! The hotel is located in the center of Shilihualang, with convenient transportation and dining. There is a restaurant in the hotel. The front desk guy was warm and thoughtful, and he handed tea to me when I checked in. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and it was quiet at night, so I slept well. The facilities are complete. The breakfast was rich in variety and tasted great. Special thanks to the housekeeper for her careful cleaning. The room was brand new every day when I came back. The price-performance ratio is super high by the Yulong River, and the details are carefully considered. I will definitely choose here again next time I travel! Highly recommended to friends~

The hotel is in a good location. You can see camels crossing the river from the room. It is also close to several scenic spots. The hotel's service and interior environment are particularly commendable. We were given a free room upgrade. The Zen meditation features are obvious, the food is delicious, and the homemade steamed buns are delicious. It is worth staying and praising!

From Guangzhou to Yangshuo, I took my parents and relatives on a three-day and two-night trip. The Bamboo Window Stream Hotel became our most surprising "home away from home". If the full score is five stars, I would like to give it six stars. The moment I opened the curtains, my family exclaimed! The vast pastoral scenery outside the floor-to-ceiling windows, and the mist wrapped around the Mantou Mountain in the distance, it was like living on the cover of "National Geographic". My parents practiced Ba Duan Jin every morning and said that this was the most poetic morning after their retirement. Even the children slept until they woke up naturally. I thought my daughter would recognize the bed, but she still stayed in bed every day! I will come again next time at 1:00
