Ulasan Paoju Factory Youth Hostel (Beijing Summer Palace Subway Station Branch)

Location is convenient. Staff speaks english and helpful. Food, coffee, etc is readily available and affordable. Has unlimited hot water for drinking, microwave oven free to use, common area for eating or just hanging out. Shared room but did not expect it to be “THAT okay”! 😄 satisfied! Self service putting on bedsheets & duvet covers which is actually new for me but not a big deal! If you are carrying valuables, better not leave it in the shared room. I have a small luggage that has locks so no worries for me. There is a paid locker near the reception though if you don’t wanna roam around bringing important things. Not fancier than hotel but certainly best for solo travellers like me and also an opportunity to meet like-minded people. Would most probably come back! 🥰

-There is no toilet paper in the toilet(you have to take some before entering the toilet). -In the room there are no lockers (not good for safety). -On the beds there isn't any curtain(not good for privacy). -Next to the bed there isn't any shelf (that's uncomfortable, you have to put the smartphone on the bed). -The beds don't have a personal light 🕯️

The staff is really helpful. Is pretty friendly for foreigners and is a social hostel. Nevertheless, because of this it can be a little noisy at mornings or nights.

Location is super good but no lift if one comes by subway. No curtains and no service aka English at all even though a lot foreigners. They even ask me to translate for them since they can’t speak or simply lazy? English at all.

I met some amazing people here however the rooms were small and not clean and some of (not all) the staff were a little bit unhelpful.

Bed is soft, easy to sleep. People downstairs can be noisy but I think that's a bit understandable. Receptionist also helped us book a spot to watch the flag raising ceremony.

Very good hostel for foreigners. Neat and Clean. Near to metro station and supermarkets. Staff is very friendly and they can speak English.

Nice place to stay! Close to Subway station and bus stop! Nice restaurants with delicious food are nearby. Plus, the staff are really helpful. And I really enjoyed their breakfast!

Everything a hostel should have except for 2 things, a locker for valuable things and curtains for the beds. Except for those things it was perfect with all night reception and a lovely atmosphere

It’s cheap. But even at the price point, this was one of the most disappointing Chinese hostels I’ve stayed in. Sure, the location’s nice, but the beds are uncomfortable (the inability to block out light around the bed was a huge negative), charging in the rooms was awkward, the overall environment somewhat dingy. Next time I’ll either stay farther out or simply deal with the price of an actual hotel.

It is a great place to meet new people and hangout. The location is quite good. However, it is not clean and reception guys they are okay.

I the cheapest one with convenient to access from Yong He gong temple/station It is located in the Hutong ( small old style village) inside has many rooms that may be 120 beds there. BUT please consider this place has only 2 bathrooms and 2 shower rooms to service more than 100 people each day! Has coined laundry, spacious common areas, various drinks to buy here. NO towels, but sometimes it has liquid soap in the shower room. Recommended for budget people who dont care of the cleanliness of sharing facilities.

The hostel was good and the rooms comfortable in the middle of the city

Located in a very quiet and beautiful hu tong area, 5 mins walking from Lama temple metro stop. Rooms are ok, staff is very helpful
