Ulasan Hotel Sunlite Shinjuku

The front desk staff was super rude & treated my husband & I differently as compared to the locals. The staff even raise his voice at us even though we are just trying to ask if there’s any luggage transfer services. Booked the hotel with room service cleaning however upon arrival was told that there’s no such service. Honestly love the location however the staff was way too rude & never again.

This hotel exceeded my expectations. I will surely book with this hotel again next time. I love the breakfast and the location is great.

Location is good as it is about 7 minutes' walk to the main food eateries and shopping streets. It is about 15 minutes' walk to the JR Shinjuku station which is fairly manageable but if you have big lug gages, it can be rather challenging, as the route to the station is just too crowded and chaotic. We had a twin bedroom, but it was just too small with hardly any space to place our lug gages, let alone opening and sorting our stuff. There is no closet with only a few hangers on the wall for clothes. Staff was very helpful and speak good English providing detailed instructions for places of our interests. There is a nice small bakery next door which is a must try. On our second day of stay when we walked in at noon, most of the shelf were already emptied.

The bed was terrible and extremely uncomfortable with springs bulged and touching the back Overall a very old hotel and wifi was very weak too Will never come for stay again

Clean but somewhat aged hotel. Space is bigger than similar priced/ class of hotel in the area.. Nearby to kabukicho but without the noisy & buzz.. Relative near to the trains, but 10mins slow walk.. Will come back to stay again for future visits if still want to be close enough to the night scene..

The location is acceptable, 15 mins walk to Kabukicho. But if you have suitcases coming from airport, definitely need taking taxi to the hotel.

Older facilities though they keep it clean.

10 minute walk to train station, convenient location but room and bathroom is really small
