Loved the hotel! It was so clean, breakfast had a good variety and had good location but importantly the staff at reception were so helpful and kind. I had forgotten my sunglasses in taxi and two reception staff, Xiao Jin and Xiao Gao were so patient and talked to the taxi driver to sort this out for me. They made our stay much nicer and I appreciate it.

On the surface, it looks like a classic, elegant hotel. Look closer and it starts to feel more like a forgotten level of Mortal Kombat. The non-smoking room smelled of cigarettes, the “business lounge” was closed two hours before its advertised closing time, and the lobby bar seemed to be little more than a self-service refrigerator. The hotel is enormous: gold decorations, mirrors, dusty little statues, and long, deserted corridors. More ******* palace than comfortable hotel.

The service is very good. The room is decent and bright. I have good views of the old city wall.

The hotel was clearly luxurious in the past, although some details could now use a little renovation. The rooms are spacious and the breakfast was good. We stayed for only one night, so the location close to the railway station was very convenient for us.

The room and the hotel services have been really great and made our trip to Xi’an really easier.

It was a perfect stay in the hotel. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Special thanks for Xiao Fan for extraordinary hospitality and kindness. Strongly recommended place

Just ok Clean Old style Isn't 5 star

Big room and clean. However, a lot of the facilities were not open or badly signed.

There is a gym in that hotel ! Otherwise room very nice and clean. Just a small problem with the shower.

He hotel is fantastic but I missed the gym and some facilities they say they have.

Lovely rooms in a huge hotel. The bathrooms in the rooms have a big window that can be covered with a roll down curtain but the curtain is a bit see through… odd.. But other than that, great!

Lets start by the positive: 5 stars hotel ghost, small amount of guest, best breakfast in 45 days of travellng, chinese restaurant for dinner is of high quality, we got upgraded to a suite on arrival on the upper floor. Best price paid for room and breakfast for a 5 stars hotel in 45 days of travel. Room and space are very clean. Now for the negative: they cut air conditioning and heating from 15 March to 1 May so our room maintained about 26C which is NOT comfortable. they delivered a small fan making lot of noise.. so had to leave windows opened while not in the room but it did not lower the temperature. also, windows opened without screen let mosquitoes come in and that is NOT nice when trying to sleep... for a 5 stars I would have prefered a 2 stars with true AC so I could sleep and rest properly. Also the hotel is pretty spectacular in its construction but most area are not opened or in service which is sad.. they promote spa, jacuzzi, sauna which were not opened. main lobby bar with piano, not opened... also using early smart techno but light turn off in toilet and bathroom after 5 to 10 min so if you are in , it will go dark and the interruptor is outside the room so stay in the dark until you get out of bath or toilet.
