The people were kind , helpful and very kind and polite. I am definitely booking for my next visit and staying a week at least

Beautiful hotel on the Lalla Setti plateau above Tlemcen. There is a wonderful cable car connecting the hotel to the old town - though it closes for Tuesday afternoons (which is when I arrived!). Taxis can still ferry you up - and I could use the cable car the following day. The hotel itself is great - with an amazing breakfast buffet. There's a bar also offering alcoholic drinks! Staff are lovely.

Beautiful hotel but service to improve. No hair dryer even though we had a wedding to book in the hotel. The irons were all faulty. The pool is nice. The breakfast is ok with a wide choice.

Excellent Hoel, 5 star, nice breakfast variety, big swimming pool, nice rooms,nice people , welcoming, Tlemcen is historical place to visit, eat and enjoy ur time, next to the hotel there is funfair and park lalla Stti , where you ride up on the cable car and enjoy stunning views and serene natural environment

Honestly, we were insulted from the moment we entered. I’ve never been treated so poorly where we paid so much money to get a room. We were stranded one night and decided to book two rooms at the last minute. I put it on my credit card through *******. Upon checking in, we were grilled about the state of our relationship, which I understand is important if we were sharing a room, but our rooms were on opposite sides of the hotel on different floors. I was then taken to the back of reception to show my face under my niqab to prove that my credit card was my own. It was a very uncomfortable check in process. Also, the bellhop would not bring our suitcases to both rooms. Just one. So my partner had to carry his suitcases to his own room. We arrived late so we went to the buffet, it was good food. They asked us to pay cash, but we did not have it on us, so I asked if it could be charged to my credit card that was registered with the hotel. The woman’s attitude was rude and said yes, but we have to do it IMMEDIATELY And that we had to go downstairs to reception to charge my card. Fine. After a long awkward process, I signed the receipt and we decided to take a walk on the grounds of the hotel. After two minutes, a man came running up to us. Not walking. Running. Apparently they had asked me to sign the merchant copy. I’m not sure why this could not have waited until we returned in the hotel. But this was a big awkward emergency as well. Honestly, I felt disrespected. I understand there are rules and different customs. But an international hotel should be a little bit more aware. I was looking to have a wedding inTlemcen, it won’t be here. Service is 0/10.

Good location , good breakfast , pool was big, beautiful hotel, but the lamps was dusty , no shower, only bath tub. I would go back .gggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg

We enjoyed our time passed in the Renaissance Hotel, the Rooms were very nice and spacious. The hotel was very clean and very comfortable and the staff was helpful and attractive to what we need. The breakfast & dinner staff was very friendly and helpful specially with my parents (thank you). Excellent food with a multitude of of choices (prices little high) I recommend Renaissance Tlemcen

This is totally the best hotel i ever tried in algeria , the rooms are super clean and well decorated , the beds are super comfy , the staff are angels not even humans , the food and the room service are on another level . The location could not be better you can see all tlemcen from there and its super safe and calm This was my best experience ever i can't wait to visit you guys again mush love ♥️

The hotel itself is very nice as well as its setting, the welcome is perfect however the details are also more important. Woodlice (insects) on the breakfast plate are nothing to make you sick. For a 5 star and the price of the night which is above the standard the service should be impeccable.

Magnificent hotel, very well decorated but the services are not worthy of a 5-star hotel. The carpet in the room was dirty as well as the shower grout. The shower towel was dirty. The children's duvets were old and without covers. We had to call reception to get bathrobes and slippers which were supposed to be in the cupboards…on top of that, we didn't get the room we had reserved over the phone, the price was different…in short it's still full things to improve!!

4 night stay. Reservation made by email before my arrival to anticipate the amount of the stay. Excellent welcome at reception (thanks to Ilyès for his help). Very clean and spacious room with no smell of cigarettes (a point to emphasize in Algeria). Housekeeping done every day. The bedding: the best with mattress topper. Breakfast: a large sweet and savory buffet - varied and succulent - great kindness from the catering staff. Very large swimming pool, clean and quiet. Gym with recent equipment. Shop selling local products run by an adorable girl. It is only the SPA that I did not try and I regret when I discovered the prices when leaving. All this to say don't trust negative reviews on the Internet. You are entering a Mariott hotel with all the associated services. For my part, used to Pullman services in France, I will come back without hesitation because I loved the calm, the cleanliness and the discretion. FYI: cable car to access Tlemcen for 50 dinars and accessible even for people who are afraid of heights (like me) Go there you will not regret your stay

When we arrived, we waited almost 1.5 hours to see our rooms. The rooms are spacious and very pretty however the corridors The dishes remained during the three days when we were trays on the floor with food. The breakfast is excellent, the waiters are excellent, but the coffee machine (only one) did not work with a queue of 15 people which did not move interminably. Too bad for such a hotel Spa service with reservation, no one to welcome you, no staff, no gel, shampoo, spa to be redone Pleasant swimming pool with lots of people and not enough deckchairs for everyone, pool restaurant good but very expensive for if you can
