I booked myself and the wife into Murphy’s hotel for a night to get a break away from the grind of family life. It looked nice in pictures but I was not sure about it tbh. But when we got there I was so happy with the experience. The staff were very friendly the hotel is so clean and comfortable, the food was delicious, really enjoyed ourselves. Excellent service, we are going to go back and stay again for longer next time.

Had a late lunch here on a Saturday - everything was really tasty, kids burger great size, chicken curry and turkey dinner good. Service was quick and prices ok. Guinness good. Restaurant area was fairly quiet would return if in the area.

Lovely small really friendly hotel. the food was beautiful. Bedrooms are so clean and well serviced . Very nice bar and lounge . Locals very friendly. Owner was about most of the time and and was very friendly

Nice cosy place to sleep and eat after 5 days walking the Wicklow Way from Dublin. Direct return to Dublin Airport by Express bus from Arklow the next day .
