Karang Sempiak Villa(Sempiak Seaside Resort)

I have rated this hotel as average. As overall it was. The location is excellent on the beach. However, this is a single facet. The rooms/villas. Known as Studio 4 on Bookings/kruing in Resort. Is halfway up a very steep hill. The car service stops at 21-00. And it is a very steep climb up some badly lit and broken steps after that. The room itself was small. Not well thought out. Very few plug sockets. None by the bed. Has a fridge/minibar ( a little noisy at night). Likewise the AC unit outside is a little noisy. There is no room service. (At this price point you would expect it). The pool. A Dozen steps down takes you to the pool deck. Pleasant small pool with loungers. No drink service at the pool (you would expect this). It is not the infinity pool in many of the pictures. This is private to one of the villas. The beach club. Is currently being rebuilt. So some construction noise on the beach. Not informed before arrival. The restaurant, this is a real let down for the level this place aspires to. The food can be good but often is poor. Service is charming. The breakfast options are good. The traditional and western ( lamb sausages a particular highlight). Otherwise it certainly does not come close to the quality of food we have experienced in Indonesia. Overall much of this resort is average in its delivery of what could be a stunning product. The staff are charming but lack the warmth of other places we have stayed. It is charged at 4/5 star and delivers 2/3 star. We would stay elsewhere in future.

Thank you so much to all the lovely staff there !! This place is amazing, big, beautiful and clin villa ! One of the my best southeast Asia destination! The beach is so beautiful and the area very safe. I already miss this place a lot and for sure I will come back!

This is our second time staying at Sempiak Villa. This time we have book Villa Kemiri. The stair to mezzanine is very narrow. Not suitable for kids under the 10 years old. The shower needs some maintenance for the dark sport. There is no door for privacy between the sleeping rooms so if you come with two couples, younshould aware in term privacy.The quality of the house in term of couch, bathroom, etc is a bit more cheaper then villa above the hills. We could see the difference. We have enjoyed our stay and the friendly staff. The white sandy beach ⛱ is just stunning and the kids could play safely. I have booked a night before for the breakfast for our last morning because we are leaving earlier. Unfortunately the breakfast come 45 minutes later so i have only 15 minutes to eat before we are leaving. I have told the staff that i would like to have breakfast at 7.30 because i am leaving at 8.30. The rest we have enjoyed our holiday!

Sempiak Villas was perfect for us. The Villa was amazing, beautifully finished and with massive wow factor with the rooms and our infinity pool overlooking the bay. The beach is brilliant : its about a mile long with great sand and at least half of it is completely empty; and there are waves to keep the family entertained - surfing one end of the beach with boogie bording the other. The restaurant is on the beach and server good cocktails and good food. And the service was superb. Would definitely recommend and for someone who doesnt normally go back to places I would go back here

As a discerning traveller Semipak villas looked lovely on paper and in reviews, but for us delivered well beyond written words and pictures. We stayed in a private hill top villa with a private pool and magnificent views across the beach and mountains. It was clean, very comfortable, the food delicious, the beach club and restaurant fabulous, the staff beyond helpful. And finally at a price which delighted. Very very highly rated

Many reasons for the wow factor at Sempiak villas - obvious beautiful beachside setting, comfortable well-equipped villa, stunning glittering lobster boat lights at night and the sight of those buffalo trudging along the beach most days, excellent staff so friendly and keen, great spa experiences, food that never disappointed. Added bonus of the local fishing village so close. Thoroughly recommend a motorbike hire to go exploring on quiet rural roads with memorable views and village life. Big thank you for lovely memories.

This is a hidden gem!! What a lovely spot. Great beach, wonderful surfing, amazing food and such great staff with lovely villas,. We stayed in Villa Kenari, family of 4 and it was perfect with a great view and pool! Love this place. Look forward to our next visit, hopefully soon. …
