"Here’s a balanced review that highlights both the good location and the problems without sounding overly harsh: Good location, but room comfort and laundry facilities need improvement The hotel is in a very convenient location, directly opposite WEGO Shopping Mall, so it’s easy to find food, shopping and other amenities nearby. One of the highlights of our stay was the sea view, and we were able to watch a beautiful sunrise from the room. Unfortunately, the room itself was not very comfortable. The air-conditioning was not working well, which made the room feel quite warm and stuffy. We informed the hotel, and the staff responded by providing us with an additional fan. I appreciate their effort and the service was generally good, but for a hotel of this standard, the air-conditioning should be properly maintained. Another issue was the laundry area. There were simply not enough machines for the number of guests, and almost every time we went there, people were queuing and waiting to use them. This was quite inconvenient. Overall, the hotel has a good location, helpful staff and a nice sea view, especially for watching the sunrise. However, the air-conditioning and laundry facilities definitely need improvement. I would have enjoyed the stay much more if the room had been cooler and more comfortable."

"Watching the sunset in the evening was absolutely stunning! The room had high ceilings and was spotlessly clean. The front desk staff (both the young men and women) provided exceptional service. I had initially considered moving to another hotel because the bathroom was a bit small, but the service here was so good that I couldn't bear to leave, haha! They truly go above and beyond to help, and I hope they can maintain this level of service. We actually moved here from Seaview No.1 Resort. The service and elevators there were terrible – the elevators were small, crowded, smelly, and we constantly had to share them with cleaning carts. In comparison, Wutong Quality is absolutely fantastic. Don't hesitate, all you Shanghainese, you *must* come to Wutong Homestay!"

"Overall, this hotel offers great value for money and exceeded our expectations, especially for a quiet family vacation. However, Weihai is a very long and narrow city from north to south. I wouldn't recommend it if your main destination is Torch Eight Street, as it's very, very far. It's much more suitable if your main destination is Hanlefang. From the hotel, you can easily reach Jiulong Bay Park with a minimum fare, which is great for kids to go crabbing and many locals also come here to pick clams. **Facilities:** The bedding is very comfortable, especially for someone like me who is particular about pillows – I was very satisfied. Other facilities are standard for this price point, including a swimming pool and a gym. The shallow end of the pool is 1.2 meters deep, and the water temperature is 28-29 degrees Celsius. **Hygiene:** The room felt very new, and the cleanliness was impeccable. Those with young children can rest assured. **Environment:** The hotel's interior is excellent. On our first day, it was very windy, and our child played in the lobby on the ground floor for half the day without getting bored. The exterior is a relatively quiet residential area. **Service:** They offer pick-up and drop-off service from Weihai Station, and there were welcome fruits. If we had any issues, the butler was always reachable. Upon check-out, they thoughtfully gave us some fruits and snacks. The breakfast selection was rich and tasty, and baby utensils were available."

The room layout was very well thought out, the desk was spacious enough, and the internet speed was fast, so I had no trouble dealing with some work documents. The most convenient aspect for me was the parking – right outside the entrance, which is incredibly helpful for anyone driving. The facilities were comprehensive, with a laundry room and microwave available. The front desk was very responsive; I called for an extra bottle of water and it was delivered immediately. For this location and price, it offers excellent value for money."

"Pros: Very close to Weihai Station and right next to Hanlefang, which is convenient for evening strolls and dining. Being on a high floor also made it easy to find. The room came with a bathtub, the bedding was very comfortable, and the hygiene was generally good. Cons: The room didn't have USB charging ports. Although a charging cable was provided, it only offered 5 minutes of free charging, after which a fee was required. The lounge area is behind the security gate, requiring a room card to access, so once you check out, you're immediately disconnected from the hotel. There's no restroom in the lobby, and luggage storage is through self-service lockers, with a fee starting after six hours. It feels a bit less personal compared to typical hotels."

"The hotel is quite close to Liugong Island, though you'll still need a taxi to get there. You can walk to Xingfumen (Happiness Gate) and enjoy a pleasant stroll along the seaside. The family room is spacious, with bunk beds and a slide, which the kids absolutely loved. The hotel also has a kids' play area and a children's stamp-collecting activity. My only minor complaint is that while the room's bar counter is quite large, there isn't a single stool or chair for it – the entire family room only has one lounge chair. The highlight, however, is the panoramic restaurant on the 20th floor. Aside from it being a bit warm (which seems to be a design flaw), both the ambiance and the food quality are excellent. It's especially beautiful in the evening, with stunning sunset views."
