Premier Inn Watford North

It felt like no one worked there, when we arrived there was no one on reception to let us in. Whenever we were down in the restaurant, it felt like staff were more interested in chatting with one another rather than attending to guests. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable but the signal on the TV was terrible and unlike other hotels, had no app streaming services so we were limited to whatever was on at the time. The bathroom was nice but I probably would've been happier if the towels didn't have someone elses hair on them - but that's probably just an oversight which at that time of night I was more concerned about getting to sleep rather than complaining. I doubt we'll stay again, which is a shame as I've stayed with premier inn at various locations around the country and this one fell short of the wonderful, welcoming service i've previously received.

Great place to stay if you’re wanting to go to Harry Potter world, only eight minutes away by car . Spotlessly clean rooms, lots of hot water and good soundproofing. As usual beds very comfortable, warm duvets and soft pillows. One of the main reasons I stay at the Premier Inn is because I’m usually guaranteed a comfortable nights sleep. Food menu is a bit basic but the food was well cooked, high-quality and thoroughly enjoyed. Breakfast was great for both adults and kids being able to choose from a fairly wide range of items. Would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Always great service from Jennifer, she is such a lovely friendly lady who always goes above and beyond, she makes it feel like a second home and is one of the reasons we go to this hotel specifically. the rooms are always clean and we always sleep well

Very clean and comfortable room. Staff were so lovely and helpful. Would return anytime! Cooked breakfast such good value for money! The car park online said it was charged at £3 per night but we were told there would be no charge. Great location if you're thinking of visiting the harry potter studios! Only a 7 minute drive away.

A quick overnight stop after a visit to the Harry Potter studio tour. We got the train to Watford junction then hopped on the free bus to the Warner brothers studios. Then it was a simple 40 minute walk to the Premier Inn. Polite staff, clean room & comfy bed, we were on the ground floor & it was surprisingly quiet, we slept soundly until our alarms the black out curtains really do their job. I enjoyed a bath with oodles of hot water and huge fluffy towels. Breakfast did the job, not perfect but for £10.99 an adult & free for kids, you can’t go wrong, the staff coped well considering they were super busy, food was frequently topped up and nothing was too much trouble. All in all a good visit. Thank you.

Had a fantastic experience all round at this hotel- Aruna was amazing and Yvo the chef went out of his way to bring some special treats to our table for our finicky son. Rooms are air.conditioned which is very rare at this chain- much needed in this day and age. Perfect for Harry Potter studios with free parking- will return !
