This property is under construction, systems down, can’t give keys, sent to a lounge to eat lunch that looked like a conference room, ordered a Niçoise salad that had 4 pieces of tuna, there was No lobby, No experience. Once in room there was no menu for room service or a phone that had labels for ANY kind of service you may need. When I dialed zero, I was told to go to the website for menu! No bathroom supplies but one tube of lotion. Shower bath soap dispenser was empty. Had to get out of shower and grab hand soap. So dissatisfied and unhappy. Oh, let’s not forget that I asked for a water view and half of my view was obstructed by the building. My window was inset. The next room was protruding out and obstructed the view. Room #955. I paid over $600 for one night and expected more from the Salamander. The middleburg, Va property puts this D.C. property to shame.
