"The hotel has been extensively renovated since my last stay. There is a cool new gym, a laundry room and the pool area is still top notch. Breakfast is generous and varied. Th rooms are really relaxing, with high quality linens, towels, pillows and mattresses making it very comfortable . The combination rain shower/nozzle shower is excellent and the room comes with a huge tv also. I had a courtyard room which has 2 more seats outside but a balcony room might have been just as convenient. Staff are really friendly and the room is cleaned to a high standard each day. Location is excellent. The hotel is across the quiet roadway from the beach which is being upgraded with new sand being spread. The Shaka Surf shop is just outside the hotel for lessons and rentals, and there is a really nice restaurant (Goofy Dog) just beside that. The noise at night might be an issue with small kids but if you want to be in the heart of the ‘scene’ there’s nowhere better to be. I would very highly recommend this as a place to stay in Riyue Bay."

"Absolutely loved the layout of this apartment! It's so spacious and never feels cramped. The common areas are spotless, and there's even a lovely lounge area to relax in. It's also really close to the coastal road at Riyue Bay, so an evening scooter ride with the sea breeze is incredibly enjoyable. The facilities are well-maintained, and you can tell a lot of thought went into the details. Highly recommend!"

"The location is great, really close to Shenzhou Peninsula, less than a 10-minute drive to get there for dining and sightseeing. The room is spacious, and the facilities are very new. They even provided complimentary coffee and sparkling water. I booked this place specifically for the outdoor pool, and while the facilities are generally good, the pool water wasn't clean. It might be because it's the off-season, and with fewer people, the water isn't changed as frequently. Overall, it's a convenient place to stay. There are charging stations at the main entrance, which is a plus for those driving."

"I brought my dog out for a walk, and this was the only pet-friendly restaurant nearby, so even though it was a little over budget, I booked it anyway. It turned out to be a hidden gem! The facilities at Yandun Beach nearby are excellent, the beach is beautiful and not crowded at all, the hotel design is great, and the surrounding attractions are plentiful. It's photogenic, comparable to Haitang Bay, but much less noisy. Seeing that I was alone, the owner invited me to have hot pot and other home-style dishes with them. They even grow their own bananas. And they are definitely dog-friendly! At night, you can hear the waves, which is very relaxing. The breakfast was also delicious, although the noodles were a little salty. The manager was incredibly welcoming; it was a fantastic experience."

"The overall hotel environment is great, and we even got a room upgrade. The surfing facilities are excellent, and the instructors are very good. However, there are a few areas that need improvement: 1: The pool was really dirty, full of bugs. I almost swallowed one! 2: The rooms at Yu Yue are generally good, but the pillows are terrible. They're completely flat and make for a very uncomfortable sleep. 3: I don't understand why a room only includes one breakfast, and they charge 168 RMB per person for an extra one. The breakfast is just like what you'd find at an average 4-star hotel. If it were a super luxurious breakfast, I could understand the charge. But for such a standard breakfast, their refusal to offer an extra one is baffling. 4: The hotel seems understaffed. The service and number of personnel fall short compared to other established resorts."

"After some time, I stayed at this hotel again, and it still amazed me! I once again chose my beloved sea-view room, and the ocean view was as stunning as ever. The room was clean and tidy, making for a very comfortable stay. The swimming pool and gym were well-maintained, clean, and comfortable, perfect for a relaxing workout during my downtime. The breakfast was still excellent, with a rich variety of fresh and delicious dishes—absolutely no misses. JOKER's service was as thoughtful and meticulous as always, making the check-in experience exceptional. Every visit brings a unique sense of comfort and relaxation. This has truly become my go-to hotel for vacations. I wholeheartedly recommend it!"

The beach and restaurant areas are between 12 and 25 mins away on the e-bike. It’s very simple. I recommend this for solo travelers, couples, and 2 friends."

It is very close to Wangfujing Duty Free Shop and it is very convenient to eat."

"The lobby opens up to a stunning sea view right as you arrive. All the facilities are absolutely perfect. The room was clean and tidy, and having a dehumidifier was a huge plus – they were also generous with bottled water, which is a lifesaver in scorching Hainan! The gym and indoor pool are in great condition, and there are even tennis courts and an outdoor pool. Breakfast is plentiful, and the hotel organizes various activities daily. In the evenings, there are often performances, and it's lovely to sit at the bar, enjoy the sea breeze, and chat over a drink. Every staff member I met was friendly and enthusiastic, and there were no hidden costs whatsoever. A truly comfortable and enjoyable trip!"

The pool area is also excellent, with several lifeguards on duty, so you can swim with peace of mind. Jiajing Island is directly across from the hotel beach, making it very convenient for snorkeling excursions."

"This was by far the worst hotel of my trip, and the value for money was abysmal! For this price, I could have stayed at a Shangri-La in Sanya. Aside from its proximity to the beach and a decent butler service, the rest of the hotel staff were incredibly cold. The beer vouchers provided by Ctrip weren't honored. When I asked the restaurant about them before checking out, they said they couldn't be used until 12:30 PM, and they didn't even have any grilled sausages. When I asked if I could swap it for something of equal value, they offered only leftover breakfast juice – who wants leftover juice from breakfast?! The hotel facilities were terrible. The bathroom door was broken, so you had to stand in the bathtub to shower. Everything was run-down and there were insects everywhere. Can you imagine the buzzing in your ear in the middle of the night? At first, I thought it was just old but well-maintained, but after checking in, it was one bug after another. The breakfast wasn't good either!"

"This is a relatively new resort hotel in Wanning, and the environment inside is excellent. From the front desk and customer service to the shuttle drivers and housekeeping staff, everyone is very friendly and provides great service. Just outside the hotel is Coconut Avenue, and it's a little over 1 kilometer to the lighthouse, so you can easily walk there in the evening. There are two restaurants for breakfast, and I think each has its own unique strengths; if you have time, you can try both. The hotel offered a complimentary travel photoshoot, and I opted to add an additional 99 RMB for both indoor and outdoor scenes with makeup and styling, which was like getting an extra set of portraits. It was really good, and the photos came out with very high quality; I was satisfied with every single shot. However, due to budget constraints, I had to reluctantly let go of more photos!"
