Hotel Spa di Wanning

Glad I booked this room. The easy pool access was the highlight. We felt like we got a villa for a cheap price. The room and the pool were very clean. The service could have been better though. Like the afternoon tea at the lobby. We requested it to be delivered in the room but it was not allowed so we need to get it at the lobby. Second was the room service. There were many dishes that were not available in the menu and the staff made a mistake twice with our order. It took us an hour or so before we can finally eat our dinner. Overall, we would still want to stay here again.

We stayed for 3 days and 2 nights in total. The weather was very cold on the first day, but the service was very warm. The housekeeper Xiao Kuang added WeChat in advance to inform us of the weather and clothing suggestions, and arranged the room and related matters in advance on the day we arrived. The weather was warm and the beach was comfortable on the second day. The bed was soft and comfortable. There was no unpleasant smell in the room. When you open the balcony, you can see half of the mountain and half of the beach. Just looking at the beautiful scenery makes you feel healed and comfortable. 😉The hotel has complete facilities. In addition to the private beach, there are also exclusive swimming pools, which are divided into adults and children. And spa. There are many restaurant options. We eat more breakfast at Zhiwei Pavilion. There are many types of breakfast, and there are new choices every day. Even if you stay for a week, you will feel that there will be new discoveries every day! There is a shopping mall near the hotel, where you can taste Hainan specialties😋😋 🥰We participated in the hotel's surfing and travel photography projects, and the overall satisfaction was good, especially surfing, which allowed us to have deep contact with the ocean, overcome our own fears, and defeat our fears The weather became hot on the third day of check-in. It was estimated that a customer had contracted the beach downstairs and started the renovation to cover the Westin logo check-in point. It would be better if a reminder was made before check-in or when booking Although the hotel was built a long time ago, it is well maintained and has a rich selection of activities. I believe the management team has spent a lot of effort In terms of environmental hygiene, scenery and service, I will still choose to stay in Wanning next year!

I was also touched by the extra efforts they made, such as personally delivering breakfast to my room—a gesture that went far beyond my expectations and made me feel genuinely valued as a guest. Additionally, I want to highlight the exceptional service provided by Yvette, the Manager of the Lakeside Restaurant. Her attentiveness and warm demeanor during my dining experiences added a personal touch that made my stay even more memorable. The professionalism, care, and thoughtfulness shown by these individuals reflect the highest standards of the Grand Hyatt brand. My stay, which began with some challenges, turned into a remarkable and unforgettable experience thanks to the dedication of these outstanding team members. I wholeheartedly recommend Grand Hyatt Shenzhou Peninsula to anyone seeking a luxurious and guest-focused experience. The hotel is beautifully situated with its own beach. The landscaping and grounds are picturesque as are the ocean views. I have previously stayed in big hotels in Sanya that involve long walks to the facilities and the beach. However, this hotel is really nicely sized. The lagoon pools and infinity pools were great, though I did wonder a bit about the cleanliness levels. I was initially concerned about reviews saying the place looked aged, but in person the rooms seemed fine, spacious and clean. The service was excellent on every level. They did not have a business center but they helped me out with some business needs. The breakfast was diverse and they made sure to keep the buffet filled up despite a large number of diners. All in all, it was a very refreshing and enjoyable stay. Note that taking a train from Sanya Airport to Wanning is not difficult and economical if the timing works well for your flights.

Just two steps out of the door is the entrance to the lighthouse, and a few minutes walk to the beach. This is the closest hotel to the lighthouse in the entire Shenzhou Peninsula

This hotel comes highly recommended. Upon arrival, the staff were incredibly accommodating and even upgraded my stay to a villa, which was fantastic. The food at the Horizon Beach Bar was outstanding, and the staff were attentive, always anticipating my needs. The cuisine at the Western restaurant was also excellent. Overall, this hotel provided a wonderful experience.
