Fabulous place. Lovely setting. Off the main roads but easy to find Delicious food and really really good staff

What an amazing hotel. The rooms were huge and really well appointed and the hotel itself is beautiful. Breakfast was also excellent. The setting is also beautiful surrounded by vineyards and farm land.

I always dreamt of having this kind of experience, sleeping in a historical building. On top of that, there is a swimming pool, excellent breakfast and dining experience, and the place itself is like a museum. It's not too far from Salamanca which makes it also ideal for visiting it and then going back to relax in the room.

This place was awesome! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and the only disappoin**ent was that we couldn't stay longer! Our room was spacious and very comfortable with a lovely view of the grounds. The large bed and the pillows were comfortable. The bathroom had both a tub and shower, both clean and functioned well with very good water pressure. The decor was suited to the castle. Although our room was on the ground floor, we had to walk down 3 steps to enter and up a flight of stairs to the bedroom. This was not a problem for us at all, but guests while mobility issues would want to be aware of uneven surfaces, as to be expected in a centuries-old structure. We enjoyed spending time walking on the grounds and relaxing on the terrace. The breakfast buffet was fresh and delicious with a variety of choices. Both the dinner and bar menus had delicious choices as well, and reasonably priced. We were happy to eat all of our meals here and not have to drive anywhere else. The pool was in a tranquil setting and while we did not use it, it looked lovely. We were also appreciative that our small dog was welcomed, several guests had dogs and all were well behaved. The staff were all very friendly, welcoming and helpful. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend this location for a relaxing break out in the countryside.

Very nice charming old castle with a good breakfast and relaxing swimming pool. Ideal to "switch off" for a couple of days.
