First night stay in room was good with balcony. Try to book again but receptionist said no room, even on Trip com showed there were room available.
So had to move hotel. Came back next day because location is convenient. But this time the room is terrible, toilet door when open or close got stuck and make very loud friction noise with ground. Mosquito bites kept me awake almost whole night.
Book one more night because did not want to run around to different hotel. After air ticket changed had to do international fly. Try to cancel. Even though cancellation was approved by their boss, but manager of hotel refused to send to Trip.com for refund. He delayed for 3 more hours, and with many talking to him and phone calls from trip.com finally agreed to send approved email to trip.com. his speaking of English is at level 0.2, and his voice is only inside his mouth, not sure what he said. But with lot of patience finally convinced him to send approved email to trip.com, from 7 am till nearly 1 on to get him to release cancellation approval.
If he is to be international tourists hotel manager, must have some basic English speaking skills to deal with customers and to deal also with hotel agencies. I had to try to translate his Lao-English into English- English for trip.com, strange but work.
Go do some English speaking courses and practice more english speaking to improve your career. Good lucks!
