Lofoten Basecamp

We loved this place, perfect for us. It’s just off a busy road but no noice. Brand new I believe and well equipped. Very friendly staff. The sauna was great, you have to reserve ( and pay) but worth it. You can also fish there if you like. We did the trail to the top of Offershøykamm and it was great ( and great exercise), beautiful views on the top and definitely worth it. Leknes center is not far away so easy to get groceries and sort of “in the middle “ of Lofoten so excellent location. Definitely recommendable.

This hotel is located just A 2-2,5 hours from the city of Å. Great place to stay although you have to make your own breakfast. Saunas are also available, unfortunately they were fullu booked this time and we were not able to experience those. Good place to stay if you are heading for the Lofoten.

This hotel offers a typical red rorbuer tyle located in a row on the fjord-side with mountain view ahead from the room. Room is modern and comfortable with a living room with a view and good bathroom. Though the bedroom is in two-layered trunk bunker style which is not very comfortable. Location is near Leknes town, just a few minutes driving.

It’s the 4th rorbu (suite/cabin) we stayed in Lofoten, Norway. It’s not far away from Lekens city, about 10 mins drive.We stayed 2 nights here. It’s close to Leknes for shopping, and hiking areas are all around, with the closest being available around. The rorbu (cabin/apartment) was very new, clean, spacious, styled and equipped with modern technologies. Everything is very practically laid out and convenient, with three bedrooms and two large bathrooms. Kitchen/living room has a stunning view through large window wall towards the fjord, and a huge terrace with a big garden with benches. Perfect for bbq and picnic food and drinks during summer. In addition, there is a beautiful sauna on premises that can be used, and a swim in the ice cold water followed by a while in a hut sauna, can really be soothingly comfortable! The host was also very nice. The checkin /out is contactless with using a small password key locker in front of the door. We stayed our last two nights in this rorbu in Lofoten. Honestly, it was quite hard for us to leave, we didn’t want to think about leaving and prayed clock ticking slower, as we just loved so much being in this calm place, far away from busy life.

Comfortable 3 bedroom home with large deck & beautiful view. Large full kitchen , 2 full bathrooms, washing machine with drying rack. Great location near Leknes where Coop grocery is in case you’d like to make dinner at “home”. Easy parking close to Ramberg & Leknes

We stayed in cabin with 3 bedrooms. It was perfect for our trip. Its a short 15min drive from airport. The bathroom/toilets have heated floor. Hairdryer and washing machine are in the 1st floor bathroom. Washing powder is provided. There is no dryer. The kitchen has everything u need to prepare a meal. Kettle, induction cooker and a huge fridge. There are plates, bowls, knives, spoon, fork provided. The TV has netflix and youtude and we could catch our favorite shows. The rooms on 2nd floor have slanted ceiling, so have to be careful not to hit heads when getting in/out of bed.
