Riva del Vin Boutique Hotel

Abbiamo soggiornato una notte in un weekend durante il carnevale. La camera è molto bella e curata. La posizione è più che ottima. Colazione non è ricca come varietà, ma di ottima qualità. Bisogna menzionare per forza la balconata sul Grand Canal. Meravigliosa.

Nice small hotel, had all the basics. Wonderful staff, good daily housekeeping, good shower, comfortable bed.

Sean was brilliant upon our arrival. The staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast was brilliant looking out on the Grand Canal. Our room was superb with a wonderful view of the Grand Canal and the Rialto

The courteous staff helped make our stay so great. Unfortunately, we were only in Venice one night. But next time we come we will definitely be staying here again. The location was water front and had impeccable views. Very convenient for our stay.

Location is very good Staff is very helpful and friendly We had a “triple room” that was pretty large Lots of nice restaurants of all prices in the vecinity.

We stayed for four nights in a Grand Deluxe Room facing the Grand Canal. The room was dark but fairly modern, however the units were grubby and scratched, missing wood. The mattress was awful, the blankets were summer and I asked for some additional blankets as it was cold, but was told this was not possible. The heating in the room did not work until the third night, no sincerity from the staff or urgency to resolve the matter. There was a lack of furniture in the room, maybe a chest of drawers? I requested more toilet paper on night three, this never arrived. Not a stupid request, I didn’t think it was unreasonable. To which I had to buy some. Grand Deluxe rooms are on the canal front, and the restaurants below play noisy music (Simon and Garfunkel) on loop until 11:00PM, each night. Neighbours aren’t respectful of the noise. I have travelled to Venice and Lido for the past ten years and have stayed at a range of properties, and unfortunately this was by the worst in my experience. We will not be returning. I read all the reviews before booking this property which is officially rated 3* but the booking reviews suggest it’s more 4.5* hence why I selected this hotel. In my opinion this is more like a 2* hotel at premium location prices. Good hotel for location, but that is about all.

The staff at Riva elevate the whole experience. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and they went of their way to make it special for us.

We have stayed during the Carnival time and hotel is pretty central close to everywhere with max of 15 mins. Completely clean and comfortable. We had a pleasure to meet Receptionist Alessandro, he is a great guy even offered an upgrade in our room so we had a lovely canal view and gave perfect local advises. I would recommend.

Great hotel, very modern, very good location. Breakfast wasn’t great. Not much to chose from, could do with better selection of cheese, ham, fresh bread and rolls etc
