The sea and the sky are one color, so beautiful that it is breathtaking! 180° unbeatable sea view room, when you open your eyes in the morning, you will see the cruise ship and the snow-capped mountains, and the city lights are on at night, and it is super cool to see the night view. Fairmont is worthy of being the representative of Canada's top luxury hotels, the service is super considerate, just like returning home. The room is low-key and luxurious European style, with complete facilities, and the bedding is so soft that it feels like sleeping in the clouds. The hotel is located in Canada Square, with an excellent location. The cruise terminal is across the road, and the SkyTrain Binhai Station is a 3-minute walk away. It is super romantic to walk along the beach in the evening."

"Both check-in and check-out were handled by Folia. Let's start with check-in. Since I was using cash for the hotel deposit, this hotel required a $200 deposit. Honestly, it's a bit excessive. My previous stay at the Fairmont in Vancouver only charged $100, even though I'd already asked them to block everything. Afterward, I had to wait quite a while to get my money back after checking out. Furthermore, the Folia lady was training a new staff member and used my check-out as a case study. She thought, "I'm in a hurry to get to the airport, so if there are any issues, your hotel should just refund the check-out fee first and then handle the rest of the training after you leave!" Why did they have to go through all the steps in front of me? Check-out was incredibly slow! Next, I went to the pool at 4:30 PM. It wasn't crowded, but there wasn't a single used towel in the locker. I called for a replacement, but after waiting over 20 minutes, no one brought it! This is incredibly slow service! I almost wanted to complain! How did they get a five-star rating?! The hotel also benefits from the numerous restaurants nearby, all within a few minutes' walk. It's quite close to the airport, but the front desk didn't even ask if we needed a free shuttle bus to the airport from check-in to check-out. But they actually do have this service. Often, five-star hotels like this should explain the services they provide to guests in advance instead of waiting for them to ask!"
