Urumqi Xiyu Harbour Youth Hostel Reviews

Location is good, just a couple of hundred meters from the Sports centre metro station which is a direct line from Urumqi airport. The building has a security officer, register with passport to gain access to the 10th floor. The hostel receptionist is helpful and there's a lounge to chill. The10 people's room is spacious but the bathroom needs some cleaning.

Excellent location for solo traveller who prefer to travel by public transport. near 2 mrt stations and brt 1 stop, direct bus to train station. super convenient. large supermarket downstairs. Boss is friendly and helpful. Good room mates during my stay

The location and common room are really good. The staff is friendly. The room itself was a bit old and smelled of smoke. There is no air-conditioning, only a really old fan. The entrance is hard to find, it is the door right from the main entrance of the shopping mall.

The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting downtown in the Urumqi .

not as expected

We booked an eight-person room, which was quite spacious, with a bathroom and shower, and each bed had a charger and night light. The only thing that made me feel disgusted was the night shift receptionist. There was an empty lower bunk, but he said someone had reserved it, so I had to sleep on the upper bunk. As a result, I didn't see anyone on the lower bunk until I got up and left in the morning.

Facilities: The facilities are relatively complete. There is a bathroom in the room but it is relatively old. The heating is OK but not cold, and the bed is a bit hard. Hygiene: The hygiene is OK, but the decoration looks a bit old. Environment: The location is very convenient, on the 10th floor of Huijia Times Zhongxing Building Service: Not bad, the front desk is a young man. I have stayed here several times and I feel that there is no change. The advantage is that it is convenient, and there is everything in the shopping mall downstairs. The disadvantage is that the facilities are old. There are no curtains and the air conditioner is not very useful.
