The service was amazing, the staff was great, but the overall condition of the hotel was far from the photo’s online. The property is considerably older than the photos show.
Our room had an extremely foul stale water odor that remained the entire three night stay despite multiple attempts from the maintenance and management to remove. After night one we discovered that it was due to a clog in the shower. The water in the main bedroom shower drained so slowly that it rose so high that it nearly flooded the bathroom.
Unfortunately, there were no other rooms to move to during this time, which is very unfortunate because the staff was great.
The pool was so filthy and had so much mildew that my son and I couldn’t even take a swim. The photo’s definitely do NOT depict the pool how it truly is.

I enjoyed my stay at Zereno and highly recommend to stay here. Tulum beach is 10 minutes drive. The apartment was spacious and very clean. Everything to our liking

We had a very wonderful experience at Zereno. Beautiful accommodation, new and very clean. We got free breakfast which is very sufficient for me to start the day. It is in a private section, gated community which made us felt safer. As for the service, yes, it is not a full service hotel but Daniel took care of everything we needed immediately. Daniel & the staff are just right to be in hospitality business. They are truly very pleasant host. They know how to treat their guests very well.

First of all this is a beautiful place,unique and well managed by Daniel.I have been in several places in Tulum but Zereno is my No.1 From day 1 Daniel helped us to feel like home in this modern 2 floor apartment (305) the best view by the way from the 3rd floor.A/C working perfect,wiifii very fast in the all area,decor of apartment is very stylish as well.If you ask you can have room cleaning every day.Basicly any request we have had Daniel sort the problem out imidietelly.Zereno is located in Aldea Zama,new area with loads of security and new building only with 20 min walking distance to downtown (don't forget that downtown is 3 miles long )One more thing about deposit,we have paid only 100 american dollars,obviously deposit was returned after check out.Small swimming pool is like an additional bonus for Zereno. Definitely recommend Ps.Thank you Daniel for your hospitality and maybe see you next time. Rafal PL

The Zereno property and staff were amazing! The room was huge and clean. They were quick to offer services and bring towels upon request. We didn’t have a ton of plans when we booked so the staff was great about making recommendations. Couldn’t recommend staying here enough. Thanks again to Daniel and Fernando for all their local food and entertainment suggestions - really made the trip amazing!

I liked that this property was quiet, safe and clean in a area that was central and close to both Tulum town and the beach areas. We had an issue with the shower upon arrival but it was fixed immediately. Service was great and staff was always there to help and call a taxi for us when we needed one.

You definitely need a car to stay here & it’s great if you’re working from home. It’s super quiet and I’m what seems like on a private road. I didn’t do enough research therefore didn’t realize the beach is far and so are restaurants. The room was beautiful though. There was a tv with no basic channels, only streaming services (Netflix, Disney, etc). We had to leave after one night.
