My partner, daughter and I stayed in your hotel last night in room 1905 and we were not satisfied with the condition of the room or your hotel.
After not having power for 3 nights we though we would have a stay at a hotel and choose the HGC as it was classed as a 4 star hotel and was at the centre of everything, where we could come and relax and cool down for the day.
We couldn't have been much further from the truth, the room was dirty, windows not cleaned, slippers mouldy, dampness in the bathroom and no pool to cool down as it was under repair, that part I completely understand as these things happen but there was no mention of this on your website or even when we checked in, giving us the chance to go else where that did have an operational pool and the chance to cool down in another pool. So we though we would go and cool down in the room, well that was another mistake, as the AC in the room was not cooling, we though maybe the heat coming through the windows, so we closed the curtains and went for dinner, only to come back to still a warm room. We called the front desk who came and looked at the AC and instead gave us a fan to cool us down.
Unfortunately to pay the price we did to sleep in a warm room when we could have done that at home was not the experience nor the lack of sleep that I expected.
