Ulasan Dormy Inn Ueno-Okachimachi Hot Spring

Yang pertama adalah letak geografisnya, sangat dekat dengan Stasiun JR Ueno atau Stasiun Tosei Skyliner, meski tidak terlihat, namun seharusnya tidak sulit untuk menemukan rutenya menggunakan Google Map. Yang kedua adalah lingkungan, hanya mengatakan bahwa itu ada di Amei Yokocho tidak perlu dikatakan lagi. Ada semua yang Anda butuhkan untuk makanan, minuman, dan belanja. Tentu saja ini merujuk pada wisatawan biasa, jika ingin membeli sesuatu yang istimewa, lain halnya. Ruangan itu relatif kecil, dua kelompok dari kami menginap di empat kamar secara total karena kami berangkat di tengah jalan. Kamar-kamar ini dapat digolongkan kecil, atau sangat kecil. Kategori sarapannya relatif sederhana, namun pasta gratis di malam hari cukup enak.

Everything is good, the room is a bit small, but it’s in Japan so it’s still acceptable. The breakfast is good but not so good as the other dormy inns, but still with this price, it’s good enough.

Great stay at this hotel! Comfortable rooms, friendly staff, and excellent amenities. The location was convenient, close to popular attractions. Breakfast had a wide variety of options. Overall, a wonderful experience and would highly recommend to others. Will definitely return on my next visit to the city. Highly satisfied!

Mr. Chen of the front desk was extremely helpful and efficient in helping me take back the mobile phone which I dropped in the subway, within just 2 hours. I really appreciate his attitute and effort!

Really great value. Clean and quiet rooms with more usable space than you’d think for the size. Will stay again my next time in Tokyoif they get better softer pillows. They felt like a folded bed sheet. Definitely need new ones with some fluff.

Very good hotel in general, but I assume it could have a better pricing. Most of the price is for the onsen and the free drinks/food available, which is nice. Still one of my preferred hotels in Tokyo!

It’s not a luxury hotel, but it does a great job of providing a comfortable stay with thoughtful touches. Location – Perfect for Travelers One of the best things about this hotel is its location. Just a short walk from Ueno Station, it offers easy access to the JR Yamanote Line, the Keisei Skyliner (for Narita Airport), and multiple metro lines, making it an excellent choice for those who plan to explore different parts of Tokyo. Additionally, the Ameya-Yokocho (Ameyoko) Market is just around the corner, where you’ll find everything from fresh seafood and street food to clothing and souvenirs. It’s a lively area that adds to the appeal of staying in Ueno. Room & Facilities – Compact but Functional As expected, the rooms are small, which is pretty standard in Tokyo, but they are well-designed with everything you need. The bed was comfortable, and the room included basic amenities like a TV, a small desk, and a fridge. Storage space is limited, but for a short stay, it was manageable. The bathroom was also compact, though the onsen (public bath) on-site makes up for it. Onsen – A Small but Relaxing Bath One of the highlights of staying at Dormy Inn hotels is their public bath (onsen), and this location has one, albeit on the smaller side. It’s not the biggest or most luxurious onsen, but it’s a nice way to unwind after a long day of walking around Tokyo. The water temperature was just right, and while the space was limited, it wasn’t overly crowded when I visited. Freebies & Unique Perks Dormy Inn is known for offering small but unique perks to its guests. This location provides free popsicles and yogurt drinks, which is a nice touch. However, they are only available during specific hours, so if you’re out sightseeing all day, you might miss out on them. They also supposedly offer free late-night soba, a Dormy Inn signature, but I never actually saw it happen and didn’t feel like asking about it. Maybe I just missed the time window. Free manga reading Housekeeping – No Room Cleaning, Just Fresh Towels One thing to note is that Dormy Inn follows a no-daily-cleaning policy. Instead of a full room service, they simply drop off fresh towels outside your door. This is fine if you’re staying just a few days, but if you prefer daily room cleaning, you might find it lacking. Staff & Service The staff at check-in were friendly and efficient, which I appreciated. They handled everything quickly and provided all the necessary information without any issues. While I didn’t interact with them much after check-in, the overall service felt professional and welcoming. Final Thoughts – A Solid Stay for Practical Travelers Overall, Dormy Inn Ueno Tokyo is a great choice if you’re looking for a convenient, budget-friendly, and functional stay in Tokyo. The location is excellent, the onsen is a nice touch, and the small perks like free drinks and late-night snacks add to the experience. Just keep in mind that the rooms are small, there’s no daily cleaning, and some of the free amenities have limited availability. If you’re okay with that, it’s a great place to stay in Ueno!

Very clean, spacious, the biggest room I got so far for single occupancy, able to open my suitcase n still got space to walk around comfortably. Very convenient just 7 mins walk to/from Ueno station or 4 mins to/from Okachimachi station. Kensei Skyliner to Narita airport just short walk from Ueno station. Good for last min shopping at Ameyoko Street (Uniqlo/GU, supermarket, Daiso, Donki, etc). Delicious & affordable Chirashi Don Sushi bowl (must have). They also catered free half portion ramen at night, yakult & ice sticks after Onsen (manga at the entertainment room). Definitely will stay again.

Nice hot spring and breakfast. Happy to savour some ice lollies after hot spring. Room is quite clean.

It was fine, quite expensive for what seems like a hotel for business travellers. It is a good location, very close to the eating street. The lobby area is quite small, only a couple of chairs and a table, so can't really hang out there, which surprised me for what I paid for. The room is clean, but again quite small, it was long in length and narrow. But it did come with a shower room, and in addition had an onsen room on the top floor which was quite nice.
