Loved our stay at this clean, modern villa. Super peaceful in April—no crowds, just relaxing vibes. The boat and buggy ride to reception was a cool touch, and the scenery was stunning. Great spot for a quiet, luxurious getaway. Would be even better with more activities or things to do at night.

It is a really disappointed experience at the boathouse. Service is not professional in terms of house keeping. The staff left very dirty footprints in our shower room after his cleaning service, which is so disgusting. Service is not consistent in terms of standards as well. One day the waiter told us all soft drinks were free during the happy hour. Another day it changed to charge but nobody told us when we ordered. Moreover, the lady staff at front office arrogantly asked us to pay for a bill we never signed, she said it was their practice. So ridiculous! We will never be there again Btw, a lot of flyers in the restaurant of this hotel..

Everything was good, and on 2nd nights we order the lobster was good too. Price very reasonable. Athens only things in the night walking back to room. The light was not very bright so sometimes u need to see properly. And the room phone not working well. Overall, I can say is very good.

The environment and service are good, but the transportation is inconvenient. It is recommended to take the elderly and children on vacation. If you come to dive, I recommend Paya Port. Note that there are no roads to the villages on the island, so you can only take the ferry, and the boat taxi is not cheap. From November to March, due to strong winds, the shallow shops are closed, but you can come to learn surfing 🏄

Beautiful hotel complex, located directly on the beach. Perfect service, super friendly and helpful staff. Delicious and varied food, tasty drinks. An absolute recommendation!

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The downside was that the breakfast options were too limited. The hotel only had one restaurant and I ate there for all three meals. I got tired of it the next day.

The Boathouse Tioman is the most perfect location for a quiet & peaceful 3-4 days getaway from Singapore. The resort is located in a very quiet, secluded part of Tioman Island (Nipah Village) - away from the touristy, hustle bustle parts of the island. That also means you will need to travel by sea taxi to other parts of the island for activities like kayaking and island-hopping snorkeling. The hotel too provides wonderful snorkeling/ diving excursions as well. The Beach facing cottages are a thing of beauty, with each cottage having its own direct access to the beach. We were wow-ed by highest levels of service of The Boathouse driven by Mr. Thevan and his very hospitable team. I would specifically like to call out a few members of the staff 1) Manjeet - Extremely warm and he went out of his way to ensure that my wife and I had a wonderful experience. He understood our dietary restrictions (we're vegetarian) and ensured that we had adequate and tasty food throughout our stay. 2) Chef Andrew - Apart from serving delectable food, one of the nights he and his team made delicious Indian style food - completely outside the menu - which gave the best of the Indian restaurants a run for their money. It was an amazing gesture and shows the empathy with which the team operates. 3) Amit - Made extremely tasty cocktails for us. 4) Fazila, Head of F&B - took really good care of us. Lastly a big thank you to the GM - Mr. Thevan. Despite his busy schedules, he made it a point to interact with each and every guest. He gave individual attention to all the guests and made them feel warm and wanted.

Boathouse is a genuine piece of paradise. A stunning location with a private golden beach and beautifully presented, comfortable and spotlessly clean chalets. We had a beach front cabin with a balcony and a swing seat and were delighted with everything about it. I arrived with an injured leg and I cannot praise highly enough, the outstanding kindness and consideration shown to me by the incredible staff. We loved it so much we extended our five day stay to seven days and still had to drag ourselves away. Now I am planning how to get back to this paradise. A huge thanks to the wonderful staff who made our stay at Boathouse an absolute joy.

Suitable for vacation, not for tourism. Beautiful environment and excellent service attitude. The staff is very competent. The only drawback is the remoteness of this resort. The relevance is good, but there are fewer corresponding commercial things. It is quiet, but not lively. If you want to get up every day and go to the island to play somewhere else, it will cost more and be more troublesome than other resorts

A wonderfully serene slice of island living. Only accessible by boat (although next year they will have a path that connects to the nearest village), this is a perfect break for families and couples who simply want to get away from it all. It’s boutique luxury, the rooms are very well appointed (the family rooms are perfect with a separate bunk room and bathroom) with the beach on your doorstep. The dive centre is excellent, the team curated wonderful family memories on both a snorkelling and diving trip. A truly special place.

What a wonderful addition to Tioman Island! While I love the Ayer Batang area for its kampung feel and Juara’s 1511 Coconut Grove, The Boathouse brings a touch of boutique luxury to Malaysia’s most beautiful island. The rooms are new, modern, and very comfortable. Breakfast is well-stocked, and the food is high quality. The dive school is run by the amazing Jenni, so you’re in very capable hands. You can also ask the Naga shuttle to stop at the resort if you prefer not to take the hotel boat, which only departs from Genting
