Booked as it I thought it was the best hotel in Tianjin - and got the terrace room and afternoon tea. Honestly the environment is nice, but perhaps unsurprisingly it isn’t up to the standard of other ritz properties. Breakfast was not good - despite being 2x the price of the 4 seasons, afternoon tea was very average (stale). Lots of little details missed (large sauna wasn’t very hot, the bidet in the Japanese toilet installed in the room didn’t work etc.) It’s not worth the significant mark up from the Tianjin 4 seasons and don’t think you’re getting a bargain price for a usual ritz level experience. Still compared to western hotels at the same price range, it’s nice (but you can get a much better deal in Tianjin)

As many others have noted, this is a beautiful and upscale hotel with all the makings of a super luxury luxurious stay. Unfortunately, my experience was completely ruined by relentless construction noise throughout the night. While the noise may be outside the hotel’s control, the fact that it wasn’t disclosed prior to booking is unacceptable. Guests have a right to know about major disruptions, especially when paying premium services and experience. Offering earplugs as a solution is frankly insulting. No one books a high-end hotel expecting to sleep with foam plugs in their ears while enduring the sounds of jackhammers at 2 a.m. At the very least, the hotel should have warned guests in advance and offered a discount. I would consider returning, but only after confirming there’s no construction. Otherwise, don’t expect a restful night—just a miserable one that happens night after night.

In my view, Ritz Tianjin is the branch with the highest service level. ( i visited Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Beijing financial street and Beijing Huamao centre so far) 1. 3 days before arrival - The branch called me to confirm the number of visitors (couple + 7 month old); and the purpose of visit (wedding anniversary) 2. Upon arrival - We were greeted by friendly staffs whom helped us with our 3 luggages and they did it with a smile 3 Miss Freya Luo lead us to the check in and was explaining the restaurants and facilities of the branch 4. During stay, our garbage and room was cleaned up no less than 2 times a day (we only stayed 2 days) 5. Miss Freya, also helped us to arrange parcels (mainly infant diapers and napkins) to be sent to the hotel 6. The exterior of the hotel resembles a castle and its truly special The hotel is merely a room; the service provided by each of the staffs here makes this experience truly memorable Thanks again Freya!

Maybe it's because I had high expectations, but I'm disappointed that it's a pretty old hotel. And the worst part was the smelling at our floor. Although the hotel changed rooms and was kind. But when I woke up in the morning, I had a headache because of the smell of the bathroom. The staff was really kind, perhaps because of the Ritz-Carlton service training. I recommend a renovation for the next step.

The hotel is grand - and old-world stately charm, feeling like from another era. If you want glitz and glam you will not find it here. The staff was quite pleasant, helpful and responsive on every level from doormen, front desk to cleaning. The breakfast was top notch with lots of nice offerings.

I heard that The Ritz-Carlton in Tianjin is the best in the country, so I took a spontaneous three-day and two-night trip. The overall decoration of the hotel is my favorite European style. The staff were friendly and helpful. Susan at the front desk was very nice and upgraded me to a suite on the top floor. The room was very clean and felt like home! The hotel is located in the most central and convenient Heping District, just a few steps away from the beautiful Haihe Scenic Area. Since I drink a cup of oatmeal coffee every day, but the hotel was unable to provide it, Darren, the manager of the lobby bar, was very considerate and attentive. The next day, he specially asked the hotel to prepare oatmeal milk for me to meet my needs. This small service has touched me. I must give full marks 💯 for this kind of humanized service and give it five stars 🌟 praise 👍 Overall, the hotel has a beautiful environment and excellent service. It is indeed the ceiling of the Ritz-Carlton in China! Will highly recommend to friends and family!

I have stayed in Xi'an, Sanya, Chengdu, Nanjing, Beijing Ritz, Tianjin Castle. It was my first time staying at the Ritz, but the experience was really good👍 The check-in procedure was fast and the service was very good. Fortunately, I upgraded the room Superior Executive Suite❤️To the eighth floor!! I wrote a cute card blessing and there was also a Ferris wheel🎡Chocolate🍫Happy🥳The room was super beautiful and I couldn't take enough photos. The terrace could see the hotel's exterior castle🏰Suite equipment: electric curtains, two electric toilets, Dyson hair dryer!! The hotel is super beautiful inside and outside and I can't help but want to take all kinds of photos❤️ The hamburger truck at Ritz🍔 is also delicious. Remember to eat it. There is also ice cream❤️

I like the decoration style of the room. It's a beautiful view wherever you take a photo. The overall service of the hotel is very warm. Whether it's the front desk reception, the service in the executive lounge, or the night bed making service staff, they are all very warm and thoughtful, making people feel at home. The only regret is that the taste of the food is average, not delicate and delicious enough. Maybe the taste of the north and south is quite different. The overall feeling is very good👍

The room is spacious, with a balcony for ventilation, complete facilities and clean and tidy. The waiter is considerate and proactive in providing non-slip slippers for the elderly; The breakfast is rich and the dining environment is very good. The hotel itself is a place for taking photos. The lobby is very luxurious and the European-style building decoration is exquisite.
