A small luxury hotel in the middle of everything.
Comfy beds, pillows, a great breakfast. There is also a indoor paid parking place next to the hotel. ( 20 euro daily)
One minus:
Our room had a connection room door to the next room,
you hear your neighbours’s talk, shower etc.

An amazing hotel! Beautifully clean, delicious food and fantastic staff. We were in room 14 which is on the 1st floor of rooms. The room was lovely, when we arrived we had a complimentary bottle of wine, a plate of truffles and a hand written note from the manager. Each night, the maid did a turn down service where we were given chocolates and some bed time reading, which was a really nice touch. The breakfast was exceptional. There was a buffet with fruit, jam, salads, pastries and so on along with a menu to order a cooked breakfast. We tried a variety of the cooked breakfasts on the menu and they were all delicious. The coffee was fantastic and there was proper freshly squeezed orange juice which was delicious. There was also champagne included which was really nice. A special shout out to the waitress Kyriaki who was very pleasant and spoke to us every morning asking how our trip was and telling us about the area. We would not hesitate to book this hotel again, it is definitely one of the best we have ever stayed in.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Excelsior. The staff were warm and welcoming throughout this beautifully appointed hotel. Our room was very comfortable and quiet . We slept so well! Lovely breakfast with a variety of hot dishes available along with an extensive buffet to choose from. It’s in a perfect location for exploring this great city and we loved being so close to the seafront for many sunny strolls and walking distances to the museums and cultural sites. Just perfect and highly recommended.

Wonderful hotel -- great location, modern facilities, and probably the best hospitality at a hotel that I've ever experienced. They've won many hospitality awards and one can see why. Staff were very kind and always willing to help and go the extra mile. Room rate also well priced. Thoroughly recommend if you're visiting Thessaloniki.

A hotel is a home away home. The Excelsior Thessaloniki stands for it. That is, at any respect. We felt being at home, at the Excelsior. Why any more comment? The only niche, if any, is that the shower is away from the bathroom, which implies that tooth brushing and taking a shower is separate, a bit uncomfortable. But it’s home. No home can be perfect, right?
